A couple things during the pandemic were pretty good to me. A couple months after the pandemic had started, I had decided I was gonna end my relationship with my (mentally abusive, and very controlling) ex-girlfriend. It gave me the chance to find someone who I was actually pretty happy with and am still with to this day. From there, I was able to get myself my very first car by myself (it's a beater, but it's my beater and I love it) thanks to the stimulus checks and unemployment. Moved out of a very crowded apartment, albeit I ended up moving in with my grandparents for a little while, then in with my current girlfriend. Life hasn't felt any better until now. I have my car, my lady, my games, and a whole lot of free time.
There's a couple things during the pandemic that happened that weren't good as well. Like I had mentioned before, I had broken up with my ex. She was mentally abusive and was pretty high on control. Since the start of the pandemic, I was constantly exhausted having to deal with her. It had gotten so bad that she had almost convinced me that my family meant little to me. She would constantly want to have sex, almost on a daily basis (every person's dream right? WRONG.) Her reason? She wanted to have a baby. We would have sex for HER enjoyment. I couldn't get off no matter how hard I tried, but she didn't care. Neither of us were stable, but she had me in a delusion of having a "happy family". I stopped talking to the people I even lived with. She wouldn't leave me alone. She would get mad at me if I didn't respond to her texts fast enough, or if I didn't pick up the phone. She'd hold me on the phone for damn near half of the day. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. If I hung up, she would get mad and discontinue communication for a day or 2 before getting back to me. It was soul sucking. I didn't have a car while I was with her, so I always ran to her house to grab her. Once she was at my place though, she just would NOT leave. She would stay at my place for almost weeks straight, even though she knew she had a responsibility to her sister (I still feel extremely bad for her sister as she is just being flat out neglected) I had no space, or room to breathe. It felt like I was suffocating. The worst part was that she was still talking to HER ex-boyfriend, and I KNEW about it. Even confronted her about it. She didn't care. She made me believe that it was just innocent talk between both of them. It wasn't. The final straw was when she just kept talking bad about the people that I lived with. That's one thing will always defend. The people I surround myself with don't deserve that kind of treatment, even if they don't here. She brought up my brother, who I lived with at the time. She wanted to get her own place and wanted me to ditch him, knowing he wouldn't be able to finish the lease payments, and would ultimately get everyone in the apartment kicked out. That was it. I hold family very dear. What she said made me FURIOUS. I took her home and ceased contact for about 3 days. I finally decided that I was gonna call, and officially break things off. She put a very loud fight on the phone, while I stayed calm through the entire talk. She kept repeating how "I wasn't anything to her", "That's why I kept talking to my ex" "I'm less than a human being" etc. etc. I just wasn't phased anymore. I packed all of her stuff up and left it at the front door of her place and buried the hatchet there. She kept trying to place herself back in my life wherever she could, but I would cut it off as soon as she tried. She would try to show up at my place while I wasn't home to get stuff that wasn't really there to begin with. (thank you roommates)
Life has never been better since I broke up with her
Sorry if that turned into a LONG venting session. I never really was good at expressing feelings towards others. I don't even bring it up in my current relationship. If she asks, I'll tell her. It just. It just really messed me up for a while. Still messes me up every now and then. I guess I kind of let that side take over, but that definitely was the worst part of the pandemic for me. Thank you for attending my involuntary keyboard therapy session.

@KuramaSan Really sorry to hear this. but hey at least you saw the bad signs and red flags, did the right thing and left that relationship. Now all you can do is keep her out of your life and move onward and upward. I feel this pandemic made a lot of couples really give hard looks at each other, especially if they were co-habitating and I know several friends who have made it through even stronger together and many others where this caused a break up. Sometimes amicable but usually not-so-much. It sucks but at least it's a way to learn and move on.

The worst thing about the corona virus is that no wants wants to leave their homes and hunt goblins. They're afraid of catching COVID. The best thing is that goblins aren't immune to COVID and are easier to catch when they have weak lungs.

@Belmar 2 years ago, a tribe of goblins came to my village and had passionate, consensual sex with my townsfolk. They were fantastic... too fantastic. My people stopped wanting to have normal human sex, and the village has never quite been the same since.
Ever since that day I've sworn to protect humanity and fuck goblins the way they fuck humans. It's a path that can sometimes be lonely, and I could make a better living fucking dragons and trolls like the big adventurers, but I've made true friends along the way. If you ever have a goblin problem in your city, pay the adventurers guild and request me.

For the worst:
I actually work in a laboratory. The worst part was all of the mandatory overtime that we had to put in. I know it sounds silly considering the amount of people that were put out of work. However, I didn't have the time or energy to take care of myself. I was already doing overnights which took a toll on my life. I spent barely any time with the people that are important to me. I dropped out of school. I've been on anxiety medication. Unfortunately, I lost someone to covid too.
For the good:
I was actually the first person at my lab to process covid. I wrote the original handling procedure for the lab. I created some crappy macros to alleviate some of the burden from my coworkers. My efforts allowed me to transition to a leadership role for the first time in my entire life. It is a bit bittersweet knowing that it took a pandemic to finally get somewhere.
It feels weird typing all of this out on a masturbation forum.

@**ToyDemon** Best was stimulus checks. Worst was everything going out of stock at the beginning of the pandemic. Food, supplies, especially toilet paper. Those were dark times..

Pro-tip for the next global disaster, check automotive stores for RV toilet paper, that's how I survived. It's thinner than single ply, but in a pinch it'll do.

The Pandemic definitely boosted my grades at Uni, everything was just so convenient with studying and zoom classes, sure I may not have learned as much material from my classes but I finished the year with a solid 4.0 GPA. Going back to in-person is going to be ROUGH.
It felt like so many events were canceled towards the start of the pandemic that I was supposed to be involved in, and I feel like maybe I missed out on some important things.
Yall are doing great work, sending positive vibes for your sales.

The best thing that happened to me during this whole pandemic, was realizing how important it is to properly rest. In our busy world it is sometimes hard to find time for oneself, and people tend to overwork themselves worrying about things that don't even matter. I really found inner peace during this pandemic, and I am happy to say that it has made me a lot happier doing so.
The worst thing that happened to me during this pandemic, was gaining 10 pounds from eating a lot of junk food :(.

Starting out with the best thing..
Before the pandemic I would struggle to find time to do things for myself, like, hobbies, self improvement, etc. but since I’ve ended up working from home over the last year+ it has given me extra time to focus on myself and finding things that enjoy to help pass the time (while not working) since I haven’t been leaving my home as much. I’ve picked up a few new hobbies, some being, I learned to build my first computer which has led me to get into more hands on electronic stuff. I learned to solder, built a custom keyboard, built a couple other computers for friends/family. I’ve also taken up restoring old tools and making knives lol.
As for the bad..
I’ll be honest, not much bad has really come out of this pandemic for me. The only thing that was bad for me was not being able to say goodbye to my Grandma before she passed away. She didn’t pass due to Covid-19, she thankfully died to old age and passed peacefully. Since the restrictions of the assisted living home she stayed at, I, along with other family weren’t able to be with her when she passed away. That was definitely hard to deal with.
Things could have been far worse for me this last year+ and I’m grateful that they weren’t. I’m very surprised and lucky to have a decent life at home since the pandemic hit. To anyone that had a rough time, I’m sorry, and I hope you are doing well currently!

@**ToyDemon** Best thing was finding an awesome cardio routine on youtube and tweaking it a bit to fit my needs. I get a good amount of exercise now. Worst thing would probably be having to wear those masks everywhere when going outside, since they are mandatory where I live. The lack of air makes me nauseous very quickly.
PrestigiousFarmer ( 140 )
@**ToyDemon** Best thing that happened is... ummm ... I-I can't think about a single good thing that happened to me due to the pandemic. I mean, a lot happened life wise (got a new job right before the pandemic, bought a new car, became a homeowner, so on, so on) but the pandemic and quarantine didn't contribute to it. They were going to happen that year regardless. I was neither laid off nor given the opportunity to work from home. The pandemic was just a very, VERY annoying inconvenience to everyday life. I guess if I had to choose something, It would be that I found out a few things about myself that I never knew. Like that I'm actually more extroverted than I though I was.
For the worst thing, I would have to say the feeling of losing two years of your life. I call these the lost years for a reason, a lot of things had to be put on hold; including a starting romantic relationship that was going very well. Feels like I'm grounded from living life for a few years, if that makes any sense. Anyways, in the end I know that I was very fortunate and wish the best of luck to those that got the short end of the stick.

@**ToyDemon** Best was being able to sleep more than before during work day, Since we are working remotely. There is no time wasted on transportation. I can do anything I want with the extra time. Worst, I was not getting enough vitamin D from home as there were little sunlight at my place. I'm not ad healthy as before.

@**ToyDemon** the best thing about the pandemic is that i can now binge watch movies and shows i wanted to watch but didn't have time. The worst thing is that I can't hang around with groups of friends and people unless its virtually online which is not the same.

The worst part of the pandemic has been being so isolated, and the cabin fever. I like having time to myself, but not having the option of (or feeling safe) socializing has been pretty crushing. I love live music, and I'm not sure when I'll be able to go to an actual, packed concert again... it feels like something that's so far off in the distance. I've also been dying to get away to somewhere fun, but right now it just still feels like it'd be irresponsible. In the future, I won't take these opportunities for granted.
The best part, quite unexpectedly, has been meeting and working with a domme who's been genuinely changing my life. When I first reached out to her, it was for a one-off, but that quickly turned into weekly video sessions that have been going on for about a year now. She's been my lifeline and a huge part of keeping me sane through all this madness, but moreover, working with her has empowered and inspired me to make immeasureable positive changes in my life. It's a new sort of dynamic for me, and not at all what I would have anticipated, but having her in my life as a confidante and mentor has instilled me with a powerful sort of confidence and self-acceptance that I've never experienced before. I feel so fortunate to have met her, and without the pandemic, it likely never would have happened.
This pandemic has been challenging and it's tested me in countless ways, but I feel like I'm going to emerge on the other side of it as a far better person.

I'm gonna switch it up and start with the BAD.
BAD
I'm currently in a long distance relationship, and it has been hard. It has now been more than an year. Luckily I'm looking at Toy Demon right now to see if I can relieve some stress.
GOOD
Working from home is always nice. Saving money on commute and parking is a plus too along with the stimulus funds.

I was already a broke hermit prior to the pandemic and would avoid socializing in public as much as possible, so these living conditions have been ideal for me. I've always wanted to try an onahole/fleshlight and just splurged (so to speak) on my first one, something I wouldn't have been able to justify without the stimulus checks. Still have to wait a week for it to arrive. Weirdly excited.

The best thing was having a good few months off of work and getting unemployment due to being furloughed. Was good to get time to myself for a good while.
The worst thing was that you couldn't go anywhere anymore or buy anything because nothing was in stock.

Best thing easily was all the bonuses from my job because I worked all through the pandemic.
worst has to be that now everyone is a scalper for everything online. You use to be able to take time to think over a purchase pushing to the last minute but now you insta buy or pay unforgiving aftermarket prices.

By all means, work from home gives me a lot of spare time learning other skills and relax, have to appreciate those saved times, rare. Worst things are the deliveries and many services I used normally just slows down drastically, everything processes slower during this period of time.

Me finding this website was probably the best thing that has come out of the pandemic the low shipping or no shipping fee is the best never had time before to research websites just relied on what friends recommended, which was the more expensive choice.
Worst thing was and is the fact that I have to carry cough drops with me at all times cause of my nervous cough which causes people to look which only makes me more nervous. And I started distancing myself from my favorite uncle and his family because they go to a bunch of parties and travel a lot.

The best thing that happened was finding this website and it definitely helped pass the time with my purchases and talk to people in the community. Saving money helped alot as well
Worst thing to happen was losing a couple friends to the covid 19. I lost 3 people total. It's always sad to see a loss of life but especially when it younger people.

What do you think the best thing and the worst thing to have happened to you since the pandemic happened?
Well, the extra money from the stimmies was nice. On the other hand, I got covid and even tho I have totally recovered, and been recovered for months, and am fully vacc'd I have my sense of taste never fully recovered. It mostly recovered but there are some things that have yet to taste like they did pre-covid and it really sucks.

Best would have to be my wife getting two and a half PAID months off work because she had the sniffles at the beginning of the craziness and her bosses thought she had the 'rona.
At the SAME EXACT TIME...
Worst would be me not getting ONE extra day off due to mass quarantine of my coworkers and bosses and having to run the whole show with only the youngest and least experienced members of my workcenter. And then receiving not one single bit of praise from my a-hole bosses when they came back to discover we had succeeded in maintaining the business workflow without a single hitch.
Oh the joys of being an "essential worker"...

Oh the joys of being an "essential worker"...

@**ToyDemon** The best thing to happen to me is I never caught COVID, and I was able to keep one of my jobs to maintain rent and utilities. The worst thing that happened to me is my other sources of work were in the entertainment and event industries, and those completely shut down, so money has been tight.

Honestly, thanks to the pandemic I saved a few thousand on gas completing my degree but didn't see a single girl in yoga pants from home. On the days when I didn't want to work the promise of adult ladies in yoga pants would at least get me to drive my ass to my college campus. What I saved on gas I spent on beer to cope with the isolation. I felt destined to collide (genitally) with at least one pretty adult lady in yoga pants. Thanks to COVID, no dice. My time will come, but now I've got to lose the 20 lbs I put on sitting at my computer finishing my degree. I had more time to work every day, but less work got done.

@**ToyDemon** Best thing was clearly having an excuse to be alone and to save money. The worst, on a personal level, was being unable to visit family, especially my grandparents. They get lonelier than I do, so it sucks to not be able to care for them as much as I would like

I sure miss meeting friends, but the best thing about the pandemic is having more free time to myself so I can work on different projects.
The worst thing is different services like banks and car repair shops being slower and more difficult to deal with.

Best thing is online work not having to drive everyday saves so much time in the long run. You can even wear comfy cloths at home and not have to dress up everyday.
Worst thing has to be missing holidays like Christmas and Thanksgiving and seeing friends and family on the regular.

Best thing was being able to work remotely. No worries about looking at nsfw content at home, can show up to group meetings in my boxers
and not having to waste time going to or back from work every day.
Worst thing was hearing about a few friends and family members getting sick. Only thing I could do was send some get-well gifts and cash to family members that needed it.

Greatest upside: Not having to wake up at 5am and still sit through traffic omw to work.
Worst downside: Having to worry for my family's health.

The best thing about the pandemic has been having more time to do certain things at home. For example, I like to cook and bake, and I've had some more time to do that at home now. The worst thing has been not being able to see many of my family and friends in person. This was especially difficult when I had family members who passed away.

The best thing was saving on everyday transport costs and grad school tuition discounts. The worst thing was a lot of firms in my industry stopped doing student internships over the summer. Honestly my everyday life wasn't as impacted since most of my local friends and I were regularly tested for covid so hanging out wasn't as daunting, but it did suck having less things to go out and do.

Best thing about pandemic is I get to use the holes I bought last Christmas and I'll be damned to use some lube. Not so best thing about pandemic is I literally have to stay indoors all day with a few minor exceptions like watering the grass, takin out the trash, etc.

Worst thing: Having to stay at home all the time certainly didn't make dealing with my mental health easier. Back when the stay at home recommendations were more intense it got pretty difficult for a while.
Best thing: The pandemic forcing me to get my socialization done online actually turned out to be a bit of a blessing in disguise. I've found new groups for games I enjoy playing, and have made a couple very close friends that I very much enjoy talking with. They recently introduced me to World of Warcraft, and I've been having a blast playing with them despite not really knowing what I'm doing yet.

The Good:
I started working remotely from home. During lunch break I can jerk off freely instead of going to the office bathroom (j/k - the office bathroom part, not the jerking off part). Also, the crypto bullrun was pretty nice.
The Bad:
Probably the increase in food and housing prices. Time also seems to move much faster for me. Can you believe 2021 is almost halfway over?

Best was that classes were all online. I didn't have to drive to campus and some classes became easier. This gave me more free time.
Worst was probably how much time I've stayed in isolation. I have interacted with very few people and this led to the development of social anxiety.

I think that the worst thing that has happened to me during the pandemic was just having my whole routine go out of wack and as a result, a lot of my own personal growth has been little in progress. But on the bright side, my work ethic and time management have increased a lot as well as understanding the importance of my own social interactions.

What do you think the best thing and the worst thing to have happened to you since the pandemic happened?
Worse
Was harder to find a decent job when I graduated from school. Fell out of touch with my friends since we didn't really hang out anymore.
Best
Not having to deal with many people because I'm many indoors and doing online work. If I do deal with people, it is usually pretty minor at least compare to retail work I did before :'(

I think the best thing that happened over the course of the pandemic was that I got to move in with my girlfriend. I got an actual job, graduated from school, and moved in with my best friend. Even though I've been forced to stay inside all of this time I figured now was a good time to focus on some actual life skills or something, so I've been trying to pick up Japanese and learning to draw better. And of course over the pandemic I've started buying a quite a few onaholes.
The worst thing about the pandemic was that I feel like whenever I went outside I had some constant paranoia. My girlfriend worked in retail and I was always worried that she might get the virus, and a couple of my friends actually did get it (but they ended up okay). I did my best to stay inside and quarantine but I was always worried someone I knew would give it to me through our minimal interactions. Also my parents still claim me so they took all of the money I would've gotten from any stimulus checks, sad day. I also found out I have some kind of weird birth defect in my neck that didn't start becoming a problem until a year ago, so that's fun too.

The pandemic has helped me realize that self-care can be extremely under performed, and how easy it is to continue ignore it. I have been working myself to death for years, and with a sudden closing, it had all caught up to me, with chronic pain, lack of hobbies, and of course loneliness. But, on the other hand, it has given me a lot more introspective time to seek out what I need and more importantly want. Getting into online communities has shown me how much more I have left to explore and experience, which has led me to wanting to explore more of my desires. So this will be my first post, hopefully of many, as I would like to be a part of this wonderful community.

Best: Gyms closing down!
I had a gym membership for 3 years, but I never really used it. Immediately prior to the lockdown, I was probably on my 2nd month of hitting the gym consistently. It felt like right as I was getting into the groove, the pandemic comes around and knocks me back down. I resented the pandemic. "If only the gyms were open, I'd be ripped by now." "If only classes were in person, I wouldn't be struggling to focus right now." "If only I could go to parties, I would have a girlfriend by now." These kinds of thoughts ran around in my head for a few months. Eventually, it just kind of hit me. I realized that my life before the pandemic and after the pandemic were not all that different. If COVID-19 had never existed, I don't think I could honestly tell myself that I would put effort into my classes. I don't think I could honestly tell myself that I would go out and talk to people. And so I forced myself to work out at home. I've only been at it for 3 months but I feel on top of the world. If the gyms hadn't closed down, I don't think I would have realized how often I make excuses. So I'm thankful for this experience.
Worst:
I'm struggling a lot with classes and time management. Because I watch lectures from home now, it feels like the stress of school has invaded my living spaces. I feel stressed constantly.

Good questions!
I'll start with the worst thing the pandemic has done to me. It's definitely made me less socially-explorative.
I have definitely observed that as people get into their late 20s/early 30s, the friends they've made in their lives are often the ones they keep. A lot of people start families or focus on their careers, so friendships can grow apart. This is the default. But the pandemic ushered in a year-plus of time that people lost face-to-face time to maintain and grow their relationships, which goes on top of the difficulty of scheduling social time to begin with, with an active career and other life obligations already there. I feel like I have to re-learn how to socially interact in public to an extent. I can do a transaction in a grocery store and things like that, but there's been a small bit of struggle feeling comfortable getting out and socializing for fun, getting out of isolation mode.
And now for the best!
I can't appreciate enough how the pandemic has given me time to work on things. A lot of people would agree with this, probably. I worked on a personal coding project that I'm getting close to completing, I built a gym in my home office and started to get fit again, and a whole lot else. I started a new relationship that was already developing from before the pandemic, but I also had a falling out with some people as well. But I've had time to think about what things I want to do with my life, how I want to live, and what compromises I'm willing to make to get to those things.
Toydemon has definitely helped along the way to help with sexual frustrations, so thanks so much for that!

Best thing that happened to me was losing 4 hours of commuting time every day for work (which I then lost that job anyways), along with having more time to spend with my collection of music, and of course the great outdoors... when the government allowed us :). Also learned how to bake!
The worst things for me would be how difficult it was to find jobs and employment during the pandemic, had to take on a lot of jobs that involved janitorial work, which I normally wouldn't mind but were a bit more risky during the pandemic. Also the general anxiety of being afraid of getting my family members and friends sick without knowing it because of the 2 week corona virus incubation period (which has developed into fully fledged physically manifested anxiety. WooHoo for having a stomach ache for the rest of my life!), thank the stars none of my family members have passed due to the virus but a few got it pretty bad, stay safe out there everyone.

@**ToyDemon** Honestly, one of my favorite things of the pandemic was being able to discover more hobbies/passions, since I had more time at home. I found out that I really love to cook, and spent a bunch of time making new things that I otherwise would not have had time for. I also picked up art as well, though for me it’s a much steeper learning curve than cooking lol.
Now, I could go on about what I didn’t like about the pandemic, but one of my least favorite things is how people started treating each other! Like, don’t get me wrong, people were crazy before the pandemic, but during it, people got even worse. Also, the whole antisocial attitude people give off really was a bummer. I’d have to say the worst thing to happen to me was not being able to enjoy normal life- hanging out with friends was hard, and so was just being able to enjoy public spaces.

@**ToyDemon** The best part of the pandemic would have to be the sense of relaxation from the usual daily stresses, not that there weren't any (lack of pay, fear of getting infected, etc.) but not having to worry about my part-time job, college, etc. has given me more time to spend on hobbies, catching up on missed entertainment, and exploring my sexuality through things like sex toys. The worst part would have to be the loneliness aspect, not being able to meet with friends to play games, and unable to meet up for dates. Also, online classes I just couldn't get into compared to being there in person! My glasses getting foggy from wearing a mask 24/7 also sucked haha

Best thing about the pandemic would be society moving towards remote environment. It makes our work-life more flexible without us have to be physically present to everything when some things could be done better remotely.
Worst thing would be wearing the mask. WORST ENEMY of anyone who's wearing the glasses D:

What do you think the best thing and the worst thing to have happened to you since the pandemic happened?
Since I kept my job, my amount of free time increased massively during the pandemic for the same amount of pay. I was able to be more efficient in my work by doing some of it at home. The downside was that the rare social events that I do still need for my mental health, despite being a shut-in in general, went from rare to zero.
The worst thing about the pandemic was being shut-in for such a long time negatively affected my routine and habits - I barely do anything now, but I'm used to it and not bored. I'm making a concerted effort now to resume the types of activities I did before the pandemic and be more active overall.

Best thing that happened during the pandemic was that I didn't have to drive to work anymore because I can work from home. This saves time, depreciation on my car, and gas costs. The worst thing that happened during the pandemic was that I couldn't come to work. I play Smash Ultimate with my coworkers during lunch and after work, and I very much miss that.

Worst.. well.. let’s ignore the much more political stuff for this post. Got a bad work injury coworker dropped a 1 ton block of metal on me, crushed my left wrist broke the scaffolding fell 60ft landed hard on my left foot. Somehow walked away. Workers comp screwed up and made a relatively minor problem into a severe problem with my foot and arm before they closed my case without telling me and the guy in charge skipped town with hundreds of case files. Can’t even work out on that arm or foot in this condition. I loved my training every day.. Saved up some cash to start my own business, partnered with some businesses started up and the morning I was supposed to finalize the paperwork lockdown immediately destroyed my entire career field and all the local businesses I was going to partner with have since permanently closed. Refunded all the clients I lined up would’ve made enough to be petty secure and have had enough to get patched up by a surgeon. Pop had his 3rd heart attack so medical bills for that. Since I quit that last job I don’t qualify for unemployment, I have a medical background and research and I’m steering way clear of the “vaccine” whatever you think of it I ain’t judging It just isn’t worth it to me. A dozen of colleagues all “committed suicide” after speaking out against the virus and “vaccine” one shot himself in the back of the head before throwing himself out of a window through a foot of bullet proof glass. No investigation into that. That said my city and all businesses are in complete 1984 vaccine passport, can’t go for a walk or get groceries let alone work without one. Computer finally died, work credentials expired, can’t get a hold of the company that renews my medical credentials, two deaths in the family, in a shitty apartment now, got BLM and Antifa shooting up the town every week, my city is on fire, murder rate is up some 800% My truck has been broken into and vandalized wheels, mirrors, windows all busted off a half dozen times since lockdown. I’m trying to take care of my folks and sister cause they’d be on the street otherwise, my savings is basically gone by now after taking care of everyone. Dunno how much longer I can afford to stay in the area. I don’t want to move.. this city and state is falling apart even more that it was before and I’m one of the folk trying to help hold my community together. Backup plan is to leave my state for a bit, get work, restart my business save up some cash, move back to my state cause place needs to be fixed and if all the rational people leave it’s never getting better.. uphill battle but we’ll do it. Been rough but number of homeless folk in my city is insane right now so hey I’m better off than a lot of folk. Oh my first love her family is in Sweden which now is like #3 for highest rape rate and murder rate in the world.. worried about them. Would have liked to visit that place if not for that. I got some bucket list things to do there.. like have sex on the altar of the temple to Freyja.. parkour stuff jump off some monuments, get into a couple swordfights with a swordmaster I know near there.. the usual.. doesn’t seem like a great idea now.. sorta worried about those folks.. not the swordmaster.. dudes got his own armory he’ll be fine but..
Best thing: I guess I’ve already prepared everything so I bounce back when this lockdown bs is over. Got everything ready in case I need to go with my backup plan. News and truth is coming out, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. Gonna be a hell of a lot of work, gonna be hard but I can start rebuilding soon. Haven’t had anything really good happen. Need to be moving forward, working towards something or I get restless. closest thing to good news is that I guess I caught up on some anime. Never had time to do that before lockdown. Was working 3 jobs, running an internship, and building and coordinating community events and business expos and sponsors for them. But I enjoyed it. Still for better or worse I feel like I caught up on years worth of anime. Learned more of how to read and write in elder futhark (ancient Norse/Nordic runic language) that was pretty cool.

The worst thing was losing my job, so I couldn't like... buy more. Or onaholes. or like... anything. At least I'm not on the streets! Anyway, I'm pretty sure these are chosen by rng, but it's my birthday today so hint hint wink wink nudge nudge

I used the irs.gov withholding calculator to make sure I either break even or have to pay $50-100, I'm not interested in give the gov an interest free loan out of my paycheck.
Best thing that happened to me was that I got hired to work remotely right at the start of lockdowns in February 2020. The worst thing is related; now that people are being encouraged to go into the office my remote job contract ended abruptly last Friday!

On a larger scale, the best things are the movements that made a surge of being noticed and fought for, the worst is finding out how much of my country are bigots.

I was so scared and did not know what was going to happen as it seems any possility can happen. After hearing the story regaring my friend's wife's hospital visit, I was horrified and felt hopless. I tried to think what I should do, and finally set up a plan. Thereafter, every day I tried to walk and hoped to get rid of my anxiety. After a few weeks, I started to realize nature can calm me down in particular at noon. There is something there. It is quiet and motionless! Maybe a pathway I have lost for a long time.

Best is WFH. I no longer have to spend 40m x2 everyday to commute, and that gives me more time for personal use, whether it be for sleep or online hobbies. The downside is a decrease of human interaction and restaurant visits, which was somewhat an interest of mine; having takeout just isn't the same, whether it be flavor or presentation, and for some places small talks with owners to learn more is also eliminated as a result.

The best thing that happened is working from home, getting time to catch up on movies, and to start connecting with people over online dating! I took some much needed time getting into journaling, yoga, and coding, which helped my self esteem.
The worst thing that happened is watching my favorite small businesses and local restaurants begin to close. Personally, there's a lot of distractions from my studying, which is a habit I need to correct. But ultimately, the good outweighs the bad.

Best thing for me was I got to spend more time playing games and watching anime on my computer at home most things were shutting down.
Worst thing was not being able to see a lot of friends since the pandemic. I think the lack of interaction with friends has caused us to grow apart from each other, so that's pretty sad :(

The best thing that happened during the pandemic was receiving the stimulus and having a surplus our savings for the first time. It was so encouraging that we ended up putting even more in savings and eventually ended up buying a house with the money we saved (before the market went completely bananas). The worst thing was coming to grips with the fact that we'll need medical assistance to be able to have a child.

Id say actually getting the virus is the worst thing. Besides that, canceling all of my travel plans, not seeing most of my friends since November 2019, the price of games and tec going up so very harshly.
The best is, all the money i received during the pandemic, i used to catch myself up on buying stuff I've put off for so long, both wants and needs. I even invested $3,700 into Bitcoin when it was $9,600 per coin, and turned it into $15,000. Yes, 15K, 15 thousand dollars! I invested into other cryptos and gained another 5K from those. Besides that, i managed to get my car down to only owing $3,400, Got to play a lot of games i had not played yet, got a lot done to my car and got closer to some friends and family. It's been mostly good for me honestly.

The best and worst thing of the pandemic.. I have had a lot of time to reflect and work through some issues. That's good. The worst is probably missing time with my friends and the constant paranoia of wondering if I was gonna get covid or not (vaccinated now!

Feels better and ewery day life is happyer since im not just trying to please others with my actions.
The worst thing is that i started to work on myself only after the love of my life broke my heart rly badly.... but no other bad things have happened besides that so thats a relieve.

I think that the best thing that has happened to me was that I was able to slow life down and because of the free time, I was able to connect with family and friends much more.
I think that the worst thing that happened to me was the fact that everything slowed down so I feel less productive and beat myself over it every single day.

The best thing was my student loans getting paused until September. The worst thing... That depends on whether you're talking about a specific incident or just the worst consequence. The worst consequence was the anxiety and always worrying about getting the virus. But the worst thing that happened was being unable to attend the funerals of two of my aunts who passed of things entirely unrelated to Covid itself.

Best for me was the opportunity to take weight loss and fitness seriously. These days I run 4 - 5 miles 3 days a week and do some strength training another 3. At the end of 2019 I was a bit over 200 lbs and no sane person would have believed I worked out like that!
Worst for me was just the isolation. I get that the social distancing was important and I'm not railing against it. It was just a bad time for me. I was in a new city and didn't really know anyone anyway, and this just made it impossible to meet people. It worked out because with remote work I was able to move closer to home, which also happens to be a much lower cost of living city.

@**ToyDemon** Best thing: Have a legitimate reason to stay home more often. Able to be on your computer more often. Spend more time online since more and more people are doing it. Gas was really cheap too.
Worst thing: Lacking the actual human interaction and being cooped in all the time takes a toll. As a student, online classes fricking sucks and I hate it! Days flies by faster, in my opinion. I get to see my family less which is sad because I really enjoy hanging out with them. Overall COVID-19 really sucked and there were more cons than pros.

@**ToyDemon** the best thing that happened to me, probably just the increase in me time. With all the quarantining I was finally able to have just me time. Did wonders for my mental state, didn’t feel as worn out and even improved on some previous problems. As for the worst part that probably have to go to how everything kinda just shut down and how some services either shut down entirely or just got extremely slow.

@**ToyDemon** The best thing that happened to me during the pandemic was being given the ability to work from home. Between the time saved by not commuting and the money as well, it turned into a big plus. Much more time for personal projects and gaming. The worst thing was the inability to be close to family. My dad had health complications and my sister had a new baby and I wasn’t able to see them much over the last year with them living out of state.

I mean the best part of the pandemic was the downtime between classes and work. It's just strange having so much free time: play video games, read books, browse the internet for hours.
The worst part was definitely online classes. Huge buzzkill. Hard to maintain motivation to do work. Didn't see classmates except through a screen. Professors varied from being lenient and flexible to being hardasses. College still charges full tuition for an online semester that was cut short by four weeks.

Worst thing that happened to me during the pandemic was being laid off from my dream career, but I think it was for the best because everything took a turn for the worst last I heard. It was nice spending time with my wife and getting things done around the house. Hopefully life gets better for us all as covid becomes a distant memory.

@**ToyDemon** -What do you think the best thing and the worst thing to have happened to you since the pandemic happened?
The best thing that happened during the pandemic was being able to go home during school to spend time with family for a while. I'm in a healthcare school now, and I don't get breaks often. It was great to spend that extra time with family. The worst thing to happen during the pandemic was not being able to go out to restaurants and bars with friends for so long. I for sure have not met many of my friends for a long while in quarantine, and I miss those interactions. I look forward to seeing them again and being able to do the things we do to chill.

Being completely honest, the pandemic didn't have too much of an impact on me personally, as I'm normally a hermit that doesn't leave his room all that often to begin with. I'd say a good thing was not having to make up excuses for why I can't leave the house, as weird as that may sound. I just enjoy being at home. In terms of negatives though, as much as I like to be at home I do enjoy hanging with people and not being able to do that for extended periods of time really did suck. I like to get out of the house on occasion and the pandemic definitely made it more difficult. Pretty bland answer, but honestly not much has happened to me in the past year and a half. It's been more of the same.

Best thing? Definitely not suffering COVID and my family is safe. Nothing more important than your life.
Worst - I would say one drawback is to see others' loss, one of my colleague lost his family members due to the virus and the vaccine. This is something that people never expected to happen in such a large scale. The takeaway for this is to cherish the time with your loved ones, you never know what or when something is gonna happen. People, including me, did not have the chance to even say goodbye to others at the last moment due to this pandemic. God bless and hope everyone take care of themselves.
Best thing? Definitely not suffering COVID and my family is safe. Nothing more important than your life.
Worst - I would say one drawback is to see others' loss, one of my colleague lost his family members due to the virus and the vaccine. @**ToyDemon** Honestly, the pandemic has been a lot more downsides than up for me an I'm sure many others, but it's important to focus on the little wins! The best has been going to classes from home. It's really convenient and honestly way easier to get up and attend if it's just at my desk, though I do empathize with the teachers who've had to adjust their entire curriculums around work from home. The worst has of course been being unable to see and go out with friends and getting laid off at the beginning of the pandemic, but in hindsight, it let me get away from a job that I felt underappreciated at with exploitative co-workers.

@**ToyDemon** Best was being able to stay home a lot more. I could focus more on schoolwork due to getting less shifts at work. Worst would probably be less income and not being able to go out and do activities with friends. We still talk to each other a lot etc, but it's just not the same as in-person doing stuff together. I also gained some weight due to the lack of exercise.

Well the best thing during the pandemic for me was great at first was home alot spending more time with family and just playing games with friends online and the worst thing that happened I couldn't go to gym for a long time at the time I lost alot of weight but couldn't because of the cough cough and it was hard staying at home all the time u love going outside enjoy my time roaming around the city or in mall near me was losing my mind staying at my apartment every single day scared like hell going outside but yeah that was my story I am halfway getting fully vaccinated and slowly getting back in shape and roaming around more now with my electric scooter so seeing more places that I couldn't go or to lazy to go or to wait for the bus but yeah hope everyone is doing well and stay safe out there and stay frosty

-What do you think the best thing and the worst thing to have happened to you since the pandemic happened?
The best thing that happened was that I got more free time to explore hobbies, like discovering onaholes, and more time to talk to friends online. The worst thing was the whole GPU shortage and the decline of my social skills just as I was coming out of my social anxiety.

Honestly, the best thing about it was not having to deal with people as much. I do enjoy the solitude. The bad side was that I gained a ton of weight from eating loads of fast food and takeout. It's a bit ironic since being at home would make cooking home meals easier and more convenient, but I just gotten more lazy :D

Best thing that has happened to me is that even though I graduated during the middle of the whole pandemic, I was able to get a full-time job with benefits. It's also allowing me to use more of my Japanese ability that I haven't been able to really use (majored in something completely different). In general, I thank my Japanese skills and putting it on my resume that I was able to get so many interviews and that's how I was able to land a job in a Japanese company.
Worst part is that it's very far away from where I live, so I had to move. Bye bye free rent, food, wifi, etc. I have to be a big boi now, but at least I have my own place where I can fap as much as I want whenever I want*.

The best part about the pandemic was the extra home time I got to spend. Before I was busy running errands one the weekdays for event work I would have on the weekend. Playing games with friends remained the same because we normally played online anyways.
The worst part is that I miss going out to places with friends and family. Going to conventions was always the highlight of my summer but things have gotten boring since most events are cancelled.

@**ToyDemon** The worst thing that happen to me was family members getting sick. The constant worrying if they will make a full recovery. The pandemic was not only a challenge to physical health but also mental health for many people.
The best thing that happen to me was making a difference where I work. I wasn't in direct contact with patients however I will able to support all the medical professional that were in direct contact. Times like these we all must work together and move forward.

Best thing? Quitting my job. I worked at a grocery store during a pandemic. Atrocious. It wasn't a bad job, it just got really busy, and I'm super introverted and I need to work at my own pace. Those are the antithesis of that job. Worst thing? Having to sit idly watching the death toll go up and feeling powerless to stop it. I feel like I can do something, but I'm just not. Meanwhile, I most certainly can't end a pandemic.

The worst thing that happened to me since the pandemic is probably how much I reverted to my old self. Before the pandemic, I was pretty introverted and a bit of a home body. I was working on putting myself out there and being more social, attempting to meet more people, going to different places. When lockdown hit, I was pretty much forced back to how I used to be, sitting at home, playing games.
The best thing for me was the appreciation I gained for my hobbies. I picked up riding motorcycles and it really helps when I need to do something to clear my mind or forget about lifes problems.

@**ToyDemon** The worst thing was a potentially terminal illness that I was born with went out of remission for the 3rd time, 2nd time in the last 6 years, right at the beginning of the pandemic. My previous doctor was unresponsive, so I had to find a new one, and the following 6 months was going to chemo during the day, working fulltime through the nights, and barely managing to make it through, financially and physically.
On the bright side, I recovered, and a promotion I was working for prior to the pandemic I finally landed within the last few weeks. Apparently you just need to work yourself while on the verge of death, just that much closer, to be recognized for the work you'd been putting in for years. All's well that ends well, I suppose? Work from home full time was also nice, so now I will virtually never have to appear in an office building for foreseeable future. Surviving, promotion, work from home. Not a bad haul.

There have been some major ups and downs throughout the pandemic.
If I had to pick something as distinctively “the best,” it would be the extra time I’ve spent with my wife, starting a DnD game on Discord with my younger brother (never knew each other, as we grew up in different parts of the country), and getting closer with my good friends (while distancing myself from my bad friends.). Oh, also getting my degree.
As the bad goes, my wife has some slight anxiety issues, and we have been in the Midwest, where the majority of the idiots, who don’t know how to shut up and listen to the science, live. Helping her keep her shit together, while she’s had to deal with anti-vaxx, Trump-worshipping, god-bothering, mask-illiterate (wearing on chin, venting, under nose, etc.), entitled assholes, has been a massively stressful challenge.
Being unable to do my preferred exercises for a year, due to my gym not observing proper safety compliance when they reopened, lead me to losing some fat, but a lot of muscle mass. Although I’ve maintained strength, building back up to my preferred muscle-body fat ratio is going to take me at least the rest of the year, if not a full year from now.
Basically it’s good to have had more time to myself and the people close to me, but dealing with the wastes of oxygen that mismanaged the hell out of the situation, was definitely not a good experience.

@**ToyDemon** Best is definitely the free time - I've been using it to learn Japanese and even joined a Discord group to practice with a native speaker. That and since I have the option to work remotely, I'm very fortunate that my income hasn't been affected at all. Worst is probably seeing things I love close down, especially the SEGA arcade in Akihabara. Also, being able to travel to Japan was one of my main motivations for learning Japanese, but it seems the country won't open for international travel for a while. I was actually planning a trip to visit this year, so here's hoping the vaccine gets widespread enough and the country opens soon...

The best thing to happen was probably having a better reason to spend some money on my hobbies. With more time at home and not having anything to due, spending money on hobbies felt much more justified and I have been, at least, able to enjoy them from time to time. I also got a kitten which has been pretty cool.
The worst thing has to be between family issues arising worse than ever and my motivation for university taking a complete nose dive like a lot of other students.

So during the last month of lockdown the best thing that happened was being able to get a good job and moving out finally on my own. I had been in and out of being homeless and managed to move in with my grandma for awhile and after I graduated highschool I and my friend wanted to strike out on our own. We each saved our cash and found a place together. Now I have the best I internet in town I have a car and I get to hangout with my best friend. Worst thing that happened during the pandemic to me was probably was not being able to go out and find a good card shop to go and hangout with friends ours closed due to the quarantine and not having enough support I had been a patron since they opened in 2015.

@**ToyDemon** Best thing about it the pandemic, yes you save alot of money to buy things you want, and more time to reflect on things in life. Doesn't change much since I'm usually at home alot after work. (More fun time, if you know what I mean)
Worst thing about it:
- People blaming most of the things on pandemic (like game companies giving you excuses)
- People losing jobs
- People who should've been in quarantine goes out and drinks, making things worse
- Increased racism

Best thing is probably that it encouraged my employer to provide laptops to allow working from home, which has added a lot in terms of convenience and saves a significant amount of time and gas on the commute.
Worst thing is probably what it's done to restaurants. Dining out is now basically limited to fast-food takeout, and some of my favorite restaurants (a fantastic buffet place and a Vietnamese place that made the best beef stew I've ever had) have shut down permanently.

Best thing:
Many positive things occurred to me since the pandemic. I was thankful to still have a stable job, although it pays more to be unemployed apparently. I was given an opportunity become a temporary supervisor, which was a nice experience. I also married my high school sweetheart, which I've been with for 11 years.
Worst thing:
My wife has Lupus, so she goes through long waves of not feeling well and a brief moment of normalcy. My wife's best friend/cousin is dying from cancer, which was why we decided to get married this year before she goes. I know that this deeply affects my wife emotionally, which consequently affects our sex life a lot. To add to that, her dad is careless with his health and almost died if he didn't go to the ER in time. So that's added stress she has to deal with. I'm just worried how she'll be able to cope with her best friends passing when the time comes.

One of the best things about the pandemic is probably more personal time. I had the chance to make more money and had more time for personal interests. Being able to get a stim check was also cool even though it might not be the best thing in the long run. The worst thing is probably not being able to go out to eat or shop normally. I personally find going out to the mall fun and I haven’t been in one for than a year now.

Worst Thing is that I lost all my progress at the Gym. I lost so much weight, was finally going down in clothing sizes. Then bam Rona hits and I was just shy of going to the gym for a year. Then you couldn't even buy and home equipment due to shortages. Now it's going to be a long road back to getting fit again.

Nothing really changed for me work wise thou. But did get the stimulus checks and spent a bunch of it on some onaholes from Toydemon. Other than that the change from being out and active everywhere to suddenly being isolated or indoors all the time kinda sucks. It’s like we are living in fear of the virus, sad but true.

Best thing:
I've been focusing a lot on health this past year and a half. Lots of exercise and incorporating a healthier diet--I need my protein (for them gains), but trying to go vegetarian for at least 2 meals a day.
Mental health wasn't too great at the start--but have slowly regained my balance.
At the end of the day, if I have nothing else, I can at least say I have my health.
------------
Worst thing:
Lost career opportunity? Was just starting a new venture right before things got crazy. But that's not too bad considering....
Asian hate.
yeah. definitely the worst thing--because it's not just about me. It's about my friends, family, and neighbors. It doesn't just affect the Asian communities. Hate spreads beyond for whom it was intended.

The best thing that happened to me during the pandemic is that I moved into a new place with a lot more privacy and it allowed me to do so many more things without worrying or bothering other people, like a couple internships and participating in more online social events.
The worst thing is probably this semester by far. I'm a student that had plans last year to graduate from university around this time. Due to some circumstances like some unfortunate school deadlines I could not make because it was beyond my control (taking and passing summer classes to sign up for this one class, but the deadline to sign up for classes was before my professors' deadline to turn in grades) and professors that ghosted my emails, I am now supposed to graduate at the end of this year but this semester has really beaten me down and has a chance of forcing me to graduate some time next year instead. One of my aunts had a stroke in the middle of the street but luckily she got help and is now in rehab, a classmate of mine passed away recently, and a professor making my life much harder because they have a personal vendetta against one of my group mates, and a few more things. As bad as it has been getting, I'm nearing the end of it, making the best out of a bad situation and learned a lot from this time.
@**ToyDemon** Best thing: I am now working from home permanently and can work wherever I want to.
Worst Thing: I've had to miss out on several friends and family members life events, everything between marriages and funerals.

Oh, ya know, the best thing is this isn't a pandemic and the worst is the massive debt and government attacks on infrastructure causing exponential inflation for unbelievable increases in food prices. Or am I not supposed to talk about that? teehee.

@**ToyDemon** The best thing was meeting my girlfriend over Zoom. We'd only video chat for the first couple weeks so we could both be vaccinated. The worst thing was not being able to go to campus and have classes in person. I met some cool people this semester, but a lot is lost when only seeing classmates online. It's been really difficult to get out there when we're all so isolated and anxious. It feels like everything has changed and nothing has changed.

Best thing that happened to me was being quarantined all 2020 with my boyfriend after dating online for 3 years.
Worst thing that happened to me was paying ambulance bills, because insurance doesn't cover it.

-What do you think the best thing and the worst thing to have happened to you since the pandemic happened?
Best thing? The digital classes. Sometimes I got that fat sleep in. Worst thing is probably the complete lack of human interaction.

The best thing that happened to me other than passing some college courses was this new game that I found out about called Black Survival Eternal Return where the combination of a Moba and Battle Royale game was finally mixed together in a better way than the previously known one as Battlerite. I haven't diversified the amount of games that I've played over the years until recently and I've been wanting to drop League of Legends for a more enjoyable Moba for awhile now and I finally found it with a game where there's solo, duo and squad(3) modes and craft, kill and survive against other players turned out to be endlessly exciting to play so I'm happy to know that in the future when I have free time I'll be able to play that and the upcoming Guilty Gear game and King of Fighters game later this year.

Best thing since the pandemic happen, well I have save more money since I haven't gone out with friends to just spend it all in food or just getting to places that's nice and am an introvert I got more time for myself big W.
The worst thing though, its the lack of communication with friends, and since I don't like texting its being worse, but oh well it is what it is.

Best was probably moving into a new apartment that is much nicer than my last. Some peace of mind finally. Discovering onaholes is pretty high up there though, they've made these dark days a little bit brighter.
The worst for me, at least mainly back in 2020, was just trying to find whatever I needed in stock. Even now it can be hard to find the things you want from almost every store. Then you have people hoarding and scalping all the good stuff (new consoles anyone?). so it just feels like life is really shitting on everyone right now in so many various ways.

-What do you think the best thing and the worst thing to have happened to you since the pandemic happened?
Best: Finished my nursing degree just as COVID19 was starting to pick up in the US and being able to find a job relatively quickly due to the increase in demand for healthcare workers
Worst: Grandpa passing away (due to non-COVID19 related medical reasons) and not being able see him before he passed or attend his funeral due to International COVID19 related travel restrictions

@**ToyDemon** This is going to get personal but what the hell.
Best was saving $ and enjoying more time to watch fav shows/films.
Worst was massive delcline in my health and my family's. Not to mention a big pause/downturn in my sex life (toys not included).
Overall though, the sense of life stopping or being on pause has not been the best for me and I think most people.
Best thing - Saving money on gas, the Stim checks, Saving money on Insurance which could go toward paying down some debt and fun stuff like the sex toys. Also as a natural introvert, it was nice to have an 'official' reason to stay in, not socialize and enjoy my fav books/movies/shows etc. Also fun to spend the summer discovering a lot of fun new sex toys on here to take my mind off the state of the world. Enjoyed rediscovering the novelty of Drive-In movies. While I missed the company of family/friends for the holidays, it was a relief not to deal with the hassle of traveling, gift buying and airports at for the first Xmas... well ever (at least in my adult life.)
Worst thing? Wheeeew. Well my health tanked. The health of a lot of my family tanked actually. I enjoy being on my own but I'm not a total introvert. I do need my social time with my friends, and going out on occasion see them, hit a convention, a day trip to Vegas or whatever. All that shut-in sedentary lifestyle led to a lot of problems for me over time as the months went on. Depression, brain fog, weight gain, low energy, low libido, sore muscles, blurry vision, headaches, then it really ramped up in Dec and into mid January with loss of appetite, increased thirst/urination and then finally vomiting minus the nausea. I finally went to urgent care. They immediately sent me to the ER where I spent three days recovering. Turns out I'd become a Type 2 Diabetic. My blood sugar was 900+ and my A1C was 11.9. You can look it up, but trust me those numbers were very BAD. Like it's lucky I caught it when I did and I'm still here to type about it. Anyway it took about 2 months afterwards, but I'm now pretty recovered and back to normal though it's meant a huge diet adjustment, checking my blood sugar 3 times a day, and staying on Insulin and Meds now.
In a way it's been the kick in the pants I needed to finally eat healthy again after I'd really let myself go this year. So for the first time in 9-10 months I'm actually losing weight, finally got under 200lbs this week and slowly getting back to my 2019 weight (and hopefully even better than that).
Add to that, the same month that happened to me, my older brother got diagnosed with cancer (Lymphoma), and 4 months prior my mother had a stroke. It's been a shitty year for my family. On the plus side, as I said I'm stable and adjusting reasonably well. My mother's made a full physical recovery but has had to make some adjustments in regards to some memory impairment and my Brother is currently responding well to chemo and has a 75% rate of beating this particular type of cancer. So we're trying to look at the glass half full.
On the sex front, I haven't had a serious GF in 4 years but the pandemic fucked up the three FWB's I had going in early 2020. The first - decided to ride this out with family in her home state of TX (She'd only just moved to CA 7 months prior) so while we've remained in touch, there won't be any action there til she returns, probably in Aug or Sept based on what's going on with her job here in CA which she's been lucky to maintain remotely. The Second - was always sporadic when she visited L.A., but our one mid pandemic hook up in June of '20 was a disaster for a myriad of reasons. Didn't help she brought a new kitten that peed everywhere around my condo. So I think that effectively ended that as I know through friends she's been back twice for other visits since and hasn't even bothered to text me. TBH even though we had some great times, after 3 sporadic years with her, I think I'm done there. The Third - is the longest lasting/most consistent of the bunch going on 3.5 years now. The pandemic paused things with us for 4 months. When we picked it back up by summertime '20 it was okay for a couple of months then my health issues kept creeping on and eventually knocked sex off the table of activities. Then another 1-2 months after that her crazy new school/work schedule meant she had less time to hang out at all. Since my recovery and return of my libido I've only managed to see her twice but we text all the time and the plan is to try and get back into a regular groove in a couple of weeks when her schedule frees up. We'll see what happens. Sex toys are great for keeping sanity in the interim of course but nothing beats the real thing!
Top that off I tried the datings apps for a bit last summer- had 3 ho hum ok FaceTime dates and two DISASTEROUS in person dates that put me off the whole thing for a while. If you want to hear the stories I'll pass it on in a follow up but in short, there's some girls out there where the pandemic sent them down a worse spiral then me. I tried again in March-April. Had about 8 dates. Most were again meh, with 1 trainwreck, 2 WTF was that? girls and only 2 good ones. Taking another break for now but may try again later this summer. Who knows. Dating is a minefield these days, casual or serious.
Oh and someone broke into our garage in June '20 and stole an entire storage bin of mine with hundreds of dollars worth of stuff inside. That stuff wouldn't have *looked* valuable the layman so I'm curious why they took that and little else beyond a bike. Baffling and annoying.
On the plus side to end on a brighter note, I was happy to try out and frequently enjoy the wonders of the Venus Real Soft, the Mao-Man, the La Becca, Venus Clone soft, Akarri's Buttocks and the OffPaka After the Event- all new Favorite Ona-holes of mine. I've also had time to discover a lot of cool new Anime (Ghibli catalog, Attack on Titan, Hunter X Hunter (thx for the recommendation TD!) etc), revisit a number of live-action favorites, find some new podcasts and comics, found a bunch of new hot porn/pornstars both Japanese and Euro/American that was... stimulating in the early pandemic months lol and learned to cook a bit better.

-What do you think the best thing and the worst thing to have happened to you since the pandemic happened?
Personally the best thing about this pandemic is that online college classes made it more flexible for me to manage my schedule and help make is easier for me to work through my previous bad experience with schooling. What sucks of course is often that I felt very stuck and isolate in my own house throughout this period. Overall this year and half has help me transition to trying my best at college even if I'm imperfect and struggling at times. I know however many people's finance and family have also been hurt greatly through this period.

@**ToyDemon** I think the best part of this pandemic was discovering onaholes and the huge variety there was. I appreciate how open the community is in giving out recommendations and reviews of their favorite onaholes freely. I look forward to stocking up on new onaholes and eventually contributing my own reviews too.

Best?
I quit my job and started my own personal gig. Literally a month before things went down. Been doing good but missed out on the unemployment benefits :'(
Worst
...Would probably be the crippling loneliness that I felt and my sleep schedule flipping upside-down. I'm generally okay by myself but its something that hit harder this last year. Oh and no one told me how expensive doing my tax return would be, all my money is gone :o !

The best thing was getting a stimmy check, the worst in my case was franctically having to come home from studying abroad in the EU suddenly while every other university student is also trying to. Plane tickets were being sold out instantly since travel restrictions were also starting to get imposed, and as ironic as it was, the airports were all operating at like max capacity with all the people trying to get home.

The best thing that happened due to the pandemic was a chain of events caused by it, that led to me finally moving out of my parents house. Right after I graduated. I have been wanting to leave for many, many years, and the last 2 years nearly killed me.
The worst thing about covid was online school and finding a job, since I entered the work force at 18, and because I thought Coid made interviews and calling employers undoable. Luckily, I managed to get a job eventually, but College was... Difficult online, especially with my poor health.
Oh, and even worse was my parents taking my Stimulus, I made an erection my taxes, and was claimed dependant.

I think the best thing to happen during the pandemic is that I have been able to get my finances back in order. I moved and then immediately lost my job in September of 2019, but I was able to work as an essential worker at my new job, which gave me a $500 covid bonus on top of the multiple stimulus checks.
The worst thing has probably been being distant from family. I moved to be closer to my dad, as he is in poor health, but until last week when we both became fully vaccinated I have not been able to see him even though we live in the same town.

Best thing about the pandemic is that I can grin like an idiot in public about the dumb stuff that inhabits my mind without anyone being the wiser about it.
Worst thing is travel restrictions. Most of my friends live in different states so I haven't seen them in almost a year and a half at this point.

Best thing is probably seeing sanitation standards going up. Looking at what we've been doing to protect ourselves from the virus, life pre-pandemic was pretty disgusting. Hopefully we don't forget how to be clean once we've fully moved on.
Worst is that since I've moved back in with my parents once the shutdown reached us, I don't have nearly as much me time anymore. I'm sure you can figure out what me time is.

@**ToyDemon** The best thing that happened to me because of the pandemic, is that online classes became more organized and accessible. My school gave away laptops and offered flexible schedules, now that we need more teachers. This allowed me to have more free time to enjoy my onaholes. I was already studying online anyway, so it was good for me overall. The worst part is having to deal with dumbass anti-maskers everyday, since I work as a cashier at a convenience store. Also things getting delayed because of COVID-19, made waiting for online deliveries more tedious.

@**ToyDemon** The best thing to happen to me is that I got pretty much a break from life, yeah it sucks that there was a pandemic going on, but being forced to be home let me finally sit back and relax a lot more. So the best thing that happened to me was at the beginning of this pandemic I was laid off, giving me some much needed downtime before getting transferred to a new, cooler jobsite.

I'd say the best thing that's happened has been the relaxed home culture - it's become more acceptable to work from home, walk around in loungewear, develop indoor hobbies, etc. By far the worst thing has been not being able to travel. Of all the things that have not been possible due to COVID, not visiting foreign countries has been the biggest downer for me.

I guess the best thing for me was getting to kickback, relax, and not having to worry about some of the more mundane aspects of life.
The worst was probably getting laid off from my previous job, but thankfully I got one a new one later down the line.
