Before we get to the August giveaway, we want to talk about a couple of things:
1 - Tariffs.
This is still on-going (sort of), and hopefully will be finalized soon. If Japan stays the way it is currently at 15% and China stays at 34%, rather than raising price which no one likes. We might look at other ways to offset the increase. Perhaps increase the free shipping threshold from $75 to a higher number or possibly lowering the customer perks level. It's something we are still looking at. So hopefully things will be clear soon.
2 - Giveaways.
While trying to determine the giveaway winners. We still see so many randomly picked winners not following the rules. 4 out of the original 10 we picked didn't add a "FAVORITE" item. 1 didn't add a wish list not named "Wish List". Not sure what it is, but if people don't read and follow the instructions, they cannot win!
With that, let's move on to this month's giveaway:
Last month, we asked about what features you'd like added and we get comments from users wishing they can filter by Brand, or weight. Some even asked about adding a dark mode to our site!
So rather than asking about what we need to add, instead we want to ask: What is the one thing / feature / tip you'd recommend to new users visiting ToyDemon? This way the comments are immensely useful to new and old users that perhaps doesn't know much about using and navigating ToyDemon.
How to Enter:
1. Create an avatar. (Build it within your Profile if you haven't already)
2. Have a public wish list of at least 5 items that does not have "Wish List" in its name. (Create relatable wish list title such as "Best Oral" for your wish list and categorize them accordingly and help out others)
3. Favorite at least one of your purchased products. Help others out and select a few favorites if you have any! (Bronze members do not apply.)
4. Upvote this topic (Bronze members do not apply), vote in the poll, and answer the question above in the comments..

@**ToyDemon** Instead of viewing the site as just a storefront, it's rewarding to realize how much information and experience you can read about in the reviews and discussion boards. Great recommendations or practices are all over the site; including much information you won't find on other social media/message boards.

@**ToyDemon** If you spend a large lump say 150$ its you can use the coupon for a free gift usually some clearance toys.
HOWEVER if none of the options strike your fancy, you can and should check the lower tiers especially since they contain expendable items
like toy cleaner, drying sticks and toy bags that used to have their own coupons.

@**ToyDemon** I don’t know how utilized/underutilized it is, but if you’re unsure of your next buy, it’s always fun to go through the wishlists that your previous faves are a part of! It’s often times gonna show you great products that could be buried under more well known ones. With the giveaways requiring more specific wishlists to be made, a lot of people have wishlists for products that are similar in quality/type/price in their wishlists! Also use dark mode, save your eyes some strain!

@**ToyDemon** My tip for new users is to check the monthly perks and offers to see how they can save a bit on their order. You might also find yourself looking at discounted products you wouldn't have otherwise thought about.

Props to portcitydemon, CYH, and chabuchabu for insisting new customers to read reviews for the product of interest. Reviews provide insight of user experience that cannot easily be explained from the product description nor screenshots alone.
Another useful feature Toydemon provides are their Helpful Info guides. "How to clean and store your masturbators" is a must read for customers new to onaholes. I ruined my first toy using a different lubricant (olive oil), and that led me to properly understand and appreciate the effort behind these creations.

@**ToyDemon** I would say check the flash sale/ clearance section, I got 2 deal 1 from flash sale and 1 from clearance and they are still last till now, easily in my top 5 favorite. Also when the ratings on a product are too few you can check the existed reviewers profile and see if they review items that you already have for better reference on what they want to aim for ( softness, texture, weight, etc)

@**ToyDemon** I would recommend new users to check out all those awesome reviews under the items. This the thing that separate ToyDemon and other websites. I love the communities here giving a lot of reviews, like tons of reviews~ Which I always read them to get more details than just the product details.

@**ToyDemon** For new users: Make sure to read user reviews carefully—and don’t hesitate to start a discussion under the product page! Important details like size, material, and internal structure can really impact your experience. I also noticed there’s now a Compare option on the site, which lets you add products to a comparison list—super helpful when deciding between similar items.
Also, I personally forgot to upvote once (the little arrow wasn’t super obvious), and I didn’t realize you have to “Favorite” items specifically from your Purchased list—I confused it with the star used to subscribe to product reviews on the product page. Since there was a quiz in the past to help users double-check website features, maybe it’s worth bringing that back? It could really help reduce disqualifications over small things. I learned the pre-order feature through that

Check a product's description before buying!
1. There is a difference between 1/2/3 layers and 2 holes can easily turn into 1 hole (maybe ruining your toy use experience).
2. Always check dimensions too. You will be really disappointed if the toy is smaller than your expectations.
3. Check the material used. Most are TPE, but just keep an eye out for it.

Bundles! They are tucked away in deals, and only sometimes appear on the front page. Might be smart to have them linked in the beginner's guide section as well.
Otherwise, community giveaways and the perks system in general is quite generous compared to other online marketplaces but this wasn't something I noticed right away.
