The most important factor for me would be performance. Followed by quality, and then value.
Why performance is important is because I want to be 100% satisfied with the sensations that the onahole of choice provides. Once that is accomplished all other factors are secondary.

Brand- I'm really a fan of anything G-Project puts so any product from them gets points in my book already
Construction/Material- It needs to be soft, have a little weight to it
Box art/picture- I have bought before solely because I was enamored with the box art, I'm a sucker for suggestive and/or cute anime girls
Weigh/Dimensions- preferably able to be held with one hand, a good weight is ~300g
Packaging- going to defer to G-Project again because they usually double bag and include a storage bag as well
Price- big one, I prefer for hand-held to be around $30-$40 max- this sort of falls into the risk/reward (do i pay less for something that not be quality or more for something that may be quality) If you pay ~$30 for a hand-held and it lasts you a year, assuming two bottles of lube at ~$13 assuming once a week usage that's roughly $1.07 dollar to nut ratio.

I'm not sure really how to answer this question, but hopefully I get it correct.
One of the most important factors for me would be the durability of the onahole. I've seen different onaholes that have interested me and I was planning to eventually get them but luckily the reviews have told me it has a limited amount of uses, and it would break apart after that. I am not particularly rich so I wouldn't have the money to continually buy new one's. People say the feel of the Onahole is the most important, price, size and other factors but I'm willing to spend more, find more space and also I'm a virgin and never owned an onahole before so the feeling doesn't matter for the first onahole.
I know I spoke about this Onahole in the first giveaway, but a lot of the reviews for the Puni Ana SPDX have said the onahole has some deformities and I'd love it if products would specify those if its a common factor. not sure if that information is already available.

I realize I might have gotten the question wrong so I'll see if this can correct it. If it was asking for the most important question that's already provided then I'm sorry for above.
The most important information that's provided by the website would probably have to be the price haha *embarrassed*.

When looking at a new toy i always tend to look at the internal design. I tend to like lots of stimulation so internal is everything. I love some of the unique designs on some of the newer toys and have them on my wishlist for when they return in stock. But overall the internal design is really what grabs me.
JimKetchup ( 10 )
The most important thing for me that would instantly make me want to buy an item would be the interior. I always want to experience something new and unique interiors can offer that experience.
WideToTheSide ( 1 )
Definitely the measurements and a cross-section picture. With above-average girth, quality and price don't matter if I can't even fit inside.
OnatoyReviewer ( 37 )
Price is ALWAYS the very first thing I look at, but that's because I would personally rather have 3 30$ holes than one 100$ hole. After that I look at the interior, and manufacturer can be make or break for me.
Cris ( 61 )
The combination of texture and quality are undoubtedly the most important factors. The whole point of buying these products is to simply feel good by the end of the ride. If the product cannot deliver, it is going to be because of these two aspects. Even if it is a new product, you will probably know what you are getting considering the manufacturers past products.
waddlewashere ( 1 )
texture and quality at a certain price are the most important factors
GravureIdolFan ( 71 )
At this point, a unique design is probably most important. I have used a lot of onaholes now, so I want to experience something new when I buy a new onahole.
RoughJenga ( 1 )
If I had to pick the most important factor when choosing an onahole it would have to be the interior pictures which is why I like the cross section photos that toy demon puts up. After that it would be dimensions/weight,
price, then exterior and I couldn't care less about the packaging is going in the trash anyway.

mrchicken221 ( 2 )
i dont tend to gravitate towards 0 review onaholes usually. But if i had to say what made me want to purchase one, an important factor would definitely be box art or just the plain visuals of the item itself. I feel like most people would do this as they tend to shop with an aroused mindset. Another factor that I would include is the brand, if I've previously bought something that turned out to be a great buy I would more than likely purchase from the same brand again. Also when purchasing something super expensive like a torso, I feel like its super important to actually watch a video to see the scale and size of the item your purchasing.
pizzacat ( 15 )
For me, given "no other info than the typical manufacturer, weight, dimensions, picture of packaging / interior / exterior, and price," the pictures of the interior are the most decisive factor in whether or not I'll want to buy. After that, price becomes important, but I'm not gonna worry about the price if I'm not interested enough to want to buy, am I? You can glean *a ton* of info from the pictures tho, like the inner texture, softness of the material used, overall size, etc. Packaging is nice I suppose, but not all that important for me personally. I ain't buying it to look at the box or admire the art. Certainly not a drawback imo, but it's what's *in* the box that's important, right?
DxdCrimsonReaper ( 3 )
The important factor is simple the texture quality of how it feels to the touch, just like anything.
N7Commander ( 185 )
The procedure I go through when deciding which onahole to purchase, I ask myself 1.How much use will I get from it. This is from a replay value standpoint and perceived durability.
2. How innovative is it? Not a fan of single "on trick" gimmick selling points unless its helluva gimmick. But the ONE major factor is...The brand above all else. Brand and reputation matters most when limited to screens screenshots and a spec sheet.
Some may wonder how new brands get opportunities? That's where reviews of the risk takers (in a good way) play an important part.

jtsk ( 132 )
I'd say manufacturer is most important. I'm far more willing to give a new product from say TOMAX than Magic Eyes due to the latter's notorious quality control. With someone like TOMAX I know I'm getting my money's worth. If it's some brand I've never heard of, I'm definitely not preordering or buying near release.
orensan ( 9 )
I don't have a single "one" supreme factor, i have multiple ones which include the following:
1- is the inner chamber/ridges/etc any different than anything than i've already used/owned.
2- price is another factor, no matter how good an onahole is if i cannot afford it.
3- weight, i don't want something so heavy i can't use it constantly without having to lay it down, plus this also affects how to clean it
4- is it made from a good material? i don't even bother cheap'ing out on my toys if it's gonna come down to bite me in the dick (literally)
5- is the brand reputation good for all of the above, or it's one of those brands that have tons of fake reviews

RunawayCocktuar ( 2 )
For me it really depends on what the internal looks like or if there's a gimmick. Tbh I don't mind wasting money on gimmicks because I just like to try new things.
Bruticus56 ( 625 )
Brand is the most important factor. The brand will indicate the quality and each has their own feel/gimmicks. Magic Eyes is always making crazy things that I feel I need to try. With NPG you know that you will get a premium product. There are brands that I stay away from because I know what they make is not for me.
Coomer ( 105 )
Well mine is a three step process visual appeal, visualization, research.
When I choose an onahole definitely the packaging if it has a cute/hot character it makes the product desirable however it is not be all and end all. Some use that gimmick to make sales,I won’t purchase right away.
I don’t look at the dimensions anymore because I bought product in various sizes and they all feel good even though I not hung as a horse. Furthermore I check the inside texture image. I have to visualize how it feels, based on the products I own. Though most of the time I’m flat wrong.
Lastly I would check other sources for the product, their is a JP website blog that reviews NEW onaholes, in the website they have a review and give a rating, though I translate via Google Translate, most of the time I understand what the reviewer’s opinion of the product.
On the website it shows an unboxing of product, pictures can only show so much but with a video I know what exactly I am getting.
Also I like to check the brand of the product if other products of the same brand to give me an idea of the product. If I own other products from the same brand (Meiki, Toysheart, PXPXP etc.) and I have a great time, I would go for it.
These are my ways to pick out new products on TD.

MasterOfDebator ( 15 )
Tough question considering 1 factor can't go without another, but if I had to pick one it would be the interior design. The reason is simple: one must be able to have a great feeling of sensation and stimulation.
JayS ( 130 )
I would have to say that the packaging and the pictures of the interior are the most important factors to consider when i'm buying an onahole. Whenever I'm looking through onaholes to buy on the site the first thing that catches my eyes would be the picture of the box. The packaging needs to be attractive enough for me to consider to buy it. The second factor is the internal tunnel, this determines how cleaning would be like. I prefer the interior to be narrow and long with simple ridges.
Boss ( 212 )
Value, which is usually linked in with the second most important factor which is The Manufacturer.
Having tried a few Magic Eyes products, for example, I would feel confident blindly buying a new onahole released by them, knowing it will be a high quality product.
But quality doesn’t matter if the cost is prohibitive. There are some paizuri toys available for sale her for over $1000. While I’m sure those would be wonderful to play with, I’ll never know bc even if that were affordable, I’d probably consider another similar toy in the range of a few hundred dollars bc it’s a better VALUE.

ValentinaGirlsUser ( 23 )
The most important aspect is the design and cutaway shots showing what makes this product unique.
PmMeIrrumatio ( 31 )
The most important factor to me for choosing an onahole is making sure I try something different. With every order, I attempt to select onaholes with a style/manufacturer I have not gotten before. The only real exception to that is if the onahole is already highly rated. I have gotten almost all of the most popular onaholes like the La Bocca, Julia+, ZXY, etc. Variety is definitely my biggest goal.
Poss ( 13 )
Visual and dimensional information. A themed one definitely catches the eye more than the usual run of the mill and bland sleeve and having either measurements or a reference point (such as it being held in a hand) help understand what is being bought. A visual of the texture is also a plus to get an idea of what to expect.
qemes4fr2chos ( 12 )
The most important factor to me is the pictures. If I'm going to buy it, I need to know what the design/gimmick of the hole is, and nothing does that better than seeing a visual of the actual product.
hungrywolf ( 9 )
For me the most important factor in deciding a purchase has to be interior tunnel design. When I first started buying, I didn't much attention to but over the years I've come to make the bulk of my purchase decisions based off whether the interior design looks enticing. A nice box art may catch my attention but the purchase is typically made based of the the tunnel pics.
hellotheredb ( 21 )
The most important factor for me would be the pictures shown by the preview. Pictures of the internal tunnel, box design, the actual toy itself with a scaled comparison, and all of the contents of the box such as extra sample lube. All of these pictures together can show clearly what you receive in the purchase and that is important to me.
wasdq123 ( 10 )
What is most important? The manufacturer/brand.
Why? It's the easiest decision heuristic for me to follow. If the newly released onahole has no reviews or ratings and it comes from an unknown manufacturer, I perceive the purchase to be too high risk (i.e. unknown safety, pleasure, quality, etc.). Thus, I immediately disqualify it as a purchase prospect. On the other hand, if it comes from a brand I've purchased before or a brand that I've heard about, then I may consider it depending on other factors.

bigsekret69420 ( 46 )
It's very hard for me to say what would be the number one factor. I guess the internal appearance would be the most important to me. Understanding the type of experience I will get would help me decide more than most other factors. I was thinking about saying "effective internal length" but honestly I don't mind if a hole can't accept my entire penis as long as I understand the type of experience I'm getting.
Rice ( 26 )
1. One important factor for my onahole purchase is to make sure there's at least more than 5 reviews and where the toy is made. I don't plan on buying any made in China so I try to get ones made in Japan. It would also need to be less than $40, maybe one day I'll reach for something in the high 70s.
punani ( 28 )
The one most important factor to my onahole purchase that has zero reviews and is completely new is how the product looks in the pictures. The way the onahole looks quality wise can be to an extent determined by the pictures of interior/exterior. The manufacturer is something I look for, as I can have more faith in something like EXE or Meiki's products even when new.
Rantaro ( 22 )
I would first look at the internal design an imagine if they would feel great or not. Next is the design of the box. If the box art doesn't attract me the I might not buy it. And of course price even if the tunnel and box art are great it boils down to the price of a product. To expensive then I'll pass on it.
DaBonyPony ( 257 )
Photos of the tunnel texture is most important for me. 2nd is price. I prefer holes $40-50. I am not likely to spend $100+ on a new product with no reviews and risk having a bad experience.
PigsRSexy ( 14 )
I thought I answered this question already but I don’t see my answer on the forums so I’ll post it again. I figure that most people have a good collection of well-reviewed onaholes so when looking at a brand new onahole I think that gimmick value is important. Variety is important in a collection for different times and moods so I always look for a new and inventive experience with interesting specifications. That is what influences my decision most.
XIIIShadow ( 31 )
Weight and the dimensions is the most important factors to me, preferably about 400g+ followed by its interior design and softness.
DatAsianDude ( 241 )
Greetings Toydemon members!
The most important factors (by the following rank below) for me when determining to make a onahole purchase that is a "new" item with no reviews is the "size of the onahole" then I look at internal texture/outer texture & material, features, price, picture of packaging, brand, then weight.
I always say in my product reviews that the size of the onahole matters because you need to find one that suits or fits you. You will definitely have a better and more positive experience with the appropriate sex toy size.

LilasAtelier ( 2 )
Most important factor? Definitely the inner design and hardness since there wouldn't be much point in buying it if it doesn't feel good.
DRSE ( 64 )
Number one for me is definitely pictures of interior texture because if it doesn't look like it will feel good then there's no point in spending the money on it. If the pictures don't really give you a good idea of what the texture is going to be like, I'm definitely not going to take the chance on something with no reviews. A close second is softness level which heavily influences how the texture is going to feel. I also look at manufacturer and what kind of products they typically put out and whether I can trust them to sell good quality such as NPG.
Roriplz ( 4 )
The two factors that would influence me in a new product purchase would have to be quality pictures and price. When a product has detailed pictures of every key feature advertised on the page it makes me feel more comfortable going through with a new release purchase. Little things like pictures of interior/exterior, durability, and size makes a difference.
When it comes to price factoring in to the decision it would have to be reasonably priced for what is being advertised and would have to compare to similar products.

Theredheaddevil123 ( 12 )
The most important factor for me when purchasing a new onahole is durability.
When I look an onaholes, I check out the structure and check if the onahole can last for a long time. I've had onaholes in the past that fail after a couple of uses and don't want that occuring anymore. I typically check the interior and the shape of the onahole to see or predict how long the onahole would last if I bought it and if it's worth the cost. If the onahole is durable enough to merit the price, it typically makes me almost guarantee trying it out.

BoogieWoogieClaps ( 55 )
Cost is important for anything I buy and the same applies to onaholes but besides using reviews to decide on an onahole, I would use check whether or not the interior material is the same as the outer as different materials tend to bring better pleasure than those onahole that are made of the same material inside and out. Another thing I tend to look for is whether or not the item has an recognizable figure such as Taimanin Yukikaze or Eimi Fukada. Although in my experience these can be either a hit or miss, I still like the image of package they come in. However overall Cost is probably the "One" most important factor when comes to buying a onahole as I expect to get a better quality product or experience when I pay more money.
MountainOfBooks ( 2 )
My decision is mostly impacted by box art and internal pictures. Price isn't a big issue unless it's way more expensive than average (2-3x) for the quality/weight.
PeeSucknis ( 8 )
Probably the tunnel and if it looks interesting and looks like it will feel good. In normal circumstances I would wait for reviews to pop up before taking the dive, though.
wanderingmidget ( 272 )
I would say the most important factor in the purchase of a new product is the size/structure. It doesn't matter if the boxart is by your favorite artist or whatever, if the product in itself is either too big or too small, then you've basically wasted money. size can also factor in the durability of a product and it sometimes sucks to get a good feeling product but you can only use it less than 6 times because it rips after a short amount of time.
Misc ( 11 )
I look for durability, feeling/softness comes 2nd.
I imagine that is a subjective/hard thing to gauge without reviews but it matters a lot to me. For instance favorite brand Tomax due to how long lasting they are.
Even though I did like the old models of NPG holes (like ZXY) they are simply too fragile for how long I plan to use holes.

Chaoslord0 ( 8 )
For me it has to be the interior and probably brand, if it Magics eyes or Npg I would get for sure. I would consider price too, but if it part of a good series and looks good both on the inside and outside, I would get it even if its a bit expensive. but definitely the interior would be most important for me, if it looks like there is going to be simulation inside, than the outside looks doesn't matter too much for me.
Namenick ( 131 )
Maybe it's shallow, but presentation is #1. If the product does not look appealing to me then I don't consider it. I can give slack to box art if the toy itself attracts me, but I attribute a lot to box art as well. The Mouth of Truth does not appeal to me at all, but I do want to try it out one day. So, things depend. Pull me in with pretty 2D girls first.
fenrirdies ( 161 )
I would say the entrance even more so than the texture since it's always a torn entrance that leads to having to toss an onahole early. I don't even bother to look at wholes with a pinhole or slit entry because of girth because texture is irrelevant if it's in pieces.
SquishyFun ( 150 )
this question is hard, short answer is the exterior is most important to me. The exterior is what invites the buyer to play with it. I say this though because I am a "visually intrigued" buyer.
Long answer: What's important is that the toy matches the artwork being displayed to an extent. Otherwise it feels like false advertisement. The most clear cut example of this was "Maga Kore Z Ton Maji Hada Mesudachi's Body" the artwork suggests a busty thick torso doll. fortunately though there is actual images on the box of what the toy actually looks like and it's body measurements in bust and rear are not even remotely close to in terms of proportions to what the artwork insinuates.

Bluehunterx ( 280 )
That one factor to me is the toy needs to be unique. And in unique I mean a game changing design and concept idea where your like ok they where thinking outside the box. Cause when 60% of the toys all look the same it discourages you from wanting to buy a new toy cause of the feeling of been there done that.
DiSAsTeRpiEcE ( 14 )
The ONE most important factor to my onahole purchase has got to be look, It's gotta be to scale and look the part. I mean, nobody wants to f**k a box, however I did notice a toilet shaped onahole. I am curious how thats selling.
hornjacker ( 95 )
I think its the cost for me, I’ve had better experience with some of the cheaper holes than the more expensive ones. Sometimes you pay too much for a gimmick that might not be as pleasing.
PuppetWings ( 75 )
It always comes down to price at the end of the day, but if all the product info and weight entices me enough I'll give it a try (Big example is the new TryFun Black Hole Stroke Cup which I have pre ordered)

I know it's silly but, what I look at most is the art box design, I feel like a high quality art box indicates a high quality product, because the company has excess money to spare because the rest of the toy must be good, its what attracts me to a product so that i will inquire it further in other aspects.

If I’m considering a brand new onahole with no reviews there’s three big things to check for. First check the company who manufactured it to see what their track record is like. Second would be to check the interior pictures and dimensions. And third the price for what I’m getting, cause if I’m buying a normal onahole I typically wouldn’t pay any more than $70, but if I’m looking at a full torso I’d be skeptical of the quality if it was less than $300.

If it’s a new onahole without any reviews, and interior looks interesting enough and price is right, then I am willing to take a chance. So it’s kinda tough, price and interior go hand in hand.
If it doesn’t look interesting no matter how cheap I won’t buy it, but if it’s too expensive, then no matter how interesting I also wont buy it.
Ugh that’s like chicken or the egg. I am gonna say price as most important with interior very very close second.

Pictures of the interior features especially are the most important to me, to get an idea of the possible sensations and stimulation the onahole will give, followed by any pictures that help estimate the elasticity/firmness and general feel of the onahole. I assume you aren't including any ToyDemon made videos, but those are great as well and I am glad some products do have them.

The most important factor in an onahole, for me, is a realistic interior that resembles a real life vagina. The labia should replicate a jav idol because who doesn’t want that? I want an onahole like this because I want to be able to watch jav videos and be able to masterbate to my favorite jav idol’s vagina. The price should be reasonable, around $30-$50.

I would check to see if it was related to a JAV actress or an anime I've seen. I would also see if the price fit what I was paying for.

Generally I look at the reviews but if there are none for a brand new onahole I would probably have to say that the most important factor would be the design of the tunnel. The material type is important too due to the fact that I generally prefer dual layer ones compared to single layer ones.

most important factor is price. i wouldn't want to buy something that has 0 reviews at the same price as something else that i can research and know what im getting. i don't want to drop money on something and be disappointed

Normally reviews matter the most to me for a new onahole. But in the case of lack of reviews.... then the main thing I look at are pictures of the internal tunnel design is what will sway me most as I have a good idea what types of designs work best for me now. To a lesser degree the make/manufacturer will weigh in too.

99 times out 100, the ONE most important factor is the pictures.
If they show a some guy stetching a mattari-type onahole 3 feet to show its elasticity, I know the texture isn't going to be as noticible, but durability will likely be higher. More extreme internal shaping won't be overly stimulating, but will instead add to the unique feel of that particular onahole. It'll most likely be good for longer sessions, etc, etc.
Conversely, if you're in the market for a hard-type onahole, being able to see a slice picture to show the internal structure is fantastic, since it's probably a case of every-bump-and-ridge-counts. It's definitely something you want to know before you get, for example, Nurse Gichi-Gichi Long Hard ver.
It's nice having different onaholes for different occasions/time constraints/moods, and with no additional information besides the manufacturer's defaults, extrapolating details from their pictures can speak volumes about the experience you'll be getting yourself into. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.

When looking to buy a brand new onahole, gimmick value is the most important factor. By now, you’ve probably bought enough well-reviewed onaholes and this purchase is just to spice things up. Therefore, it helps to have an interesting concept that provides some sort of new addition to a collection.

"What is the ONE most important factor to your onahole purchase and why? We are talking about a new, 0 review, just released onahole with no other info than the typical manufacturer, weight, dimensions, picture of packaging / interior / exterior, and price."
The most important factor for me when purchasing a new and unknown onahole is its QUALITY.
Does the onahole come from a reputable brand? Is it a brand that has made toys I have enjoyed in the past and were made to last?
Does the onahole feature a unique or novel texture?
Does the onahole provide a visually stimulating experience both on the box art as well as the opening?
Does the onahole's price match it's set of features and size?
If the answer to all of these questions is in line with my desires, then the onahola is clearly of a high level of QUALITY. This is the most important factor to me as an onahole purchaser.
