@ptoyd Try checking out with a different browser, or on a computer if you're trying to check out from your phone.
Both of these have worked for me when I've been stuck on the checkout page loading forever while trying to check out.

@ptoyd might sound stupid, but check to see if the items you were trying to buy are actually “in stock.” The cart will retain items you placed inside and will continue to hold them even after the product has been sold out.
It’s happened to me a couple times and the cart will notify you saying “these items are no longer available” or something and you’ll have to manually remove them from your cart.
