I feel like there is a quite learning curve to finding your preferences when it comes to using onaholes, and it can only truly be done by experimenting with different types of onaholes. Experiment with different interiors (tightness, softness, textures, etc...), by using different lubes, by experimenting with how much lube you like (typically thinner for feeling more texture), do you like to go fast or slow. And you got to be creative with your setup : trying hand holding the toy, placing it on a surface to fuck (try different heights of the surface, distance to your cock, maybe a swinging motion of the toy).

Not the traditional onahole for this crowd, but I would recommend any of the quickshots for a first-timer. I have the Riley Reid one cause it's what was available, but any of them should be fine. If on a budget there's nothing wrong with getting something cheaper. But the ZXY is widely regarded as the gold standard and will help a beginner to gauge what they are getting into, while having a good experience.
