Spring is almost here! We can't wait till the weather is better again! We just experienced 2 days of summer, followed by a thunderstorm and crazy tornado warning!
So a little update on the community. We are finalizing the community achievements and it should be ready sometime in March. The achievements will start off with simple goals like # of comments posted, # of reviews written, and etc. We will add more as we go or get some good ideas.
Once you hit the achievement requirement you'll get a little badge next to your avatar along with some bonus reward points added to your account with each earned achievement. The rewards will retroactively apply to your account so you don't need to worry about missing the bonus rewards.
Take for example if achievements are earned when you write 20 reviews, 50 reviews, and 100 reviews, and you have already written 100+ reviews in your account. You will still receive the bonus rewards of 20 reviews, 50, reviews, and 100 reviews. The details will be provided once the system is ready to go, so stay tuned.

@**ToyDemon** I think something like an achievement to be the first reviewer(s) of a product, or at least be among the first couple of reviewers? Just enough to incentivize reviewing them but not abuse it (rushing reviews just to be first) I guess.
For newer products, I'm sure a good amount of people are more willing to check out a new item if it has reviews. Having multiple reviewers helps show a better average rating - if an item has just one review and it's 1/2 stars (maybe due to the reviewer's tastes), it could make people pass over it.

That might not be a bad idea, however, because there are so many new products always coming out, we cannot display endless badges. Maybe we can change in the future how first review of a product gets more than the typical 100 points, but it won't be an achievement.

@**ToyDemon** Some other achievements I would like to see would be a total of how many items we have bought from ToyDemon. And have milestones for the different numbers we reach. Maybe a bronze version of the badge could be for buying 5 items. Then a silver version could be for buying 25 items. Then gold for 50 items. And finally platinum for 100 items bought in total. However, I don’t think they all need to be new badges added to our account. I think it could just be 1 singular badge that levels up and changes it’s look so our achievements page isn’t cluttered with unnecessary achievements.

The only thing I had in mind that I haven't seen commented already would be some kind of way to review products you have that you purchased elsewhere. I'd like to be able to give my two cents on something if it might help someone else, even if it doesn't directly grant me rewards points (I understand if you gave points for reviews of items not purchased here you'd face a lot of spam). Maybe there could be achievements associated with it, maybe not. Either way, it's a feature I'm interested in. Some of my absolute favorite toys I bought before using this site and I can't say so because I didn't buy them here.

@**ToyDemon** I would love to see a badge for trusted reviewers, people who tried lots of products and wrote extensive reviews. I want to be able to follow onahole reviewers and find some that have the same like/dislike than me and get recommendations on what to buy next from them.
Additionally, and this is not really community related, I would love to see a "weight" filter on the store (and possibly in my wishlists). I love my onas to have some humpf. If I could sort by weight it would help me choose my next buy.

Recent reviews already exist but short testimonials/reviews on trending or top selling items would be nice. Since the pros and cons are already part of the review function you could pull a few from there. One of two words describing the toy shouldn't be too distracting but gives a sense of the product. As someone who is often on a bit of a budget, I think it would also be great if users came back to their reviews to comment on longevity and experience over the life of a product. I can't always afford to buy something, have it be great for a month, and then just take up space because it's no longer usable.

I do have a suggestion for a new site feature. When using the search filters, size and tunnel length are welcomed options to be toggled with but I think weight is a bigger deciding factor for buyers (at least for me it is)

I know we can use the code, but I have made several orders that qualified and I forgot to enter it each time lmao. @**ToyDemon** I don't really have any features in mind for the community page, I think it's alright as it is and don't have any real insight to offer. But I do have one feature in mind for product pages that I think would be useful. There are filter options for in or out of stock, but I think adding an additional filter for stuff that is discontinued would be a good idea. Whether discontinued by the manufacturer or just no longer available on Toydemon being able to filter the discontinued stuff seems like it would be helpful, possibly if someone wants to only see discontinued stuff just to see what was available in the past, but primarily so that when looking through products both in and out of stock items can be seen without any discontinued stuff in between. It's not a huge deal but can be a bit annoying, especially when looking through brand pages, and I think it could be a useful filter to have available.

I think some sort of way to mark extremely helpful reviewers / reliable members as top reviews with an additional reward system could be nice. The review count is already useful to see breadth of experience, but there is incentive to put out as many reviews as possible for points. "Trusted Reviewer" would help find quality reviewers, especially for new products, or for niche products that don't have as much traffic (therefore less voting on reviews).

If you incentivize reviews on newer items with not alot of feedback I think it would help people who are on the fence for a new drop. Sometimes an onahole in the first couple uses is amazing and a person reviews it highly, but has poor quality control and after a month it falls apart or maybe even just the novelty of the toy wears out quickly, yet the initial 5 star review remians because the user typed their review immediatly to get their reward points and doesn't bother to update it later with a 2 star b/c there is no incentive to do so.

It wouldn't have to be a lot but some sort of indication that they are frequent poster since the hearts system is present but is based around people engaging with it and in smaller discussions I can see it being overlooked.

The new reward system sounds nice and I hope they could make buying in bulk more rewardable. I'd like for some of the toys that have little to no ratings have more incentive to leave a review, probably just more points for the first few reviews. There have been a lot of products that piqued my interest but they had maybe one review that was three stars. That one review makes that item so much harder to purchase. The overall rating just being the opinion of one person really sucks. It could just be that person's opinion as well, as I've seen bad reviews on toys that I personally love.

As someone said, there would eventually be many achievements that could clog up the pages. So maybe adding them to the avatar to show off. I started my toy journey over there and ended up all over the place before settling here basically as my new sole provider (every where else just didn't quite click).

@**ToyDemon** I don't know if this counts as TD community, but make it easy to change the order of items in a wish list, or at least some type of automated sorter (sort by price). It being chronologically only makes actual use of a wish list as a wish list very awkward and not feasible for me. Achievements are cool, I would be a fan of some themed achievements in the system, like a maid madness achievement, a monster girl lover achievement or a succubus fiend achievement. Being able to have some way to display achievements would be nice as showing them off is like half of the whole point of achievement.

That way it we know that this person was accurate in their review. Maybe achievements for adding pictures in the review because usually the given pictures of a toy is sometimes one, sometimes none. Achievements for purchasing or participating in holiday events? Oh here's a badge for purchasing on this Black Friday or this Christmas event. I would like to see an achievement for buying products from like 5-10 different companies (or more, I’m just spitballing). This would encourage people to expand their horizons and try something from a company they may not have wanted to try before. They may even find their new favorite toy/producer.

@**ToyDemon** well maybe a feature that would be kinda neat would be how long a user has been on the site. Besides the obvious when the user joined the site but more in terms of amount of purchases and reviews and how new the user is to the site. Maybe not the best idea but that's because the site already has one of the best ideas already implemented. Just my two cents.

@**ToyDemon** A nice new feature for the site could be a short video clip of each product to go along with the pics of each product just so you could get a better all around view of what you're buying, not sure how possible/plausible that would be though.

Honestly, being a person who does 100% completions in every game.
Achievements that aren't only bound to purchases would help community interaction imo.
in terms of features though, more filter options would be nice.
I personally would like to be able to sort by weight.

@**ToyDemon** Incentivizing comments is good. I hope for some way to incentivize voting. It feels like a lot of newish products have conflicting reviews and it can be hard to tell whose review is the consensus.

@**ToyDemon** I believe the achievement system can show to people how many reviews they wrote and people can see that person has reviewed the product and can give opinions on the product so people can see people's different opinions on various lubes or toys.

@**ToyDemon** I see a lot of brand loyalty among the onahole community, so maybe you could have an option to choose a flair that'd display next to your name/profile that could show something like a brand of your choosing to signify your support, or how long you've been a user, etc.

@**ToyDemon** I like the idea taiga0 had with rewarding the first couple of reviewers. I'd like to expand on that idea and with an achievement that rewards the first couple of buyers of a brand new product. Like a "Founders" badge, maybe the first 10 people to buy the product get this achievement.
