Interested to know/connect! I've 3D-printed molds, smoothed them out, then applied mold release and poured silicone to make custom onaholes before. I don't have a ton of experience, and it's not like I can use TPE at home. But still super cool! I've also 3d printed some wacky stuff like an adapter to use a drill with toys. I'm currently planning to follow someone's build plans on patreon to make a robot stroker with multiple axes of motion and adapt it to use with onaholes. Just curious if anyone else does this kinda stuff haha.

@KuroNoRider I hope I can do this soon

@JonesyJames It's not hard honestly. You just need a few house hold items to help re-texture things. I use a fork, a garlic press (the kind that looks like brass knuckles). I'm trying to find what else I could use to create new textures, but it's hard to figure out alone.

@Zeke that sounds scary.... I'm curious HOW they get used???
KuroNoRider ( 263 )
@JonesyJames As in you have the same kind of plans? Or are you learning about robotics and hoping to get to that point? It isn't a whole lot, honestly it's probably a half decent way to learn the basics. Just be careful and don't do anything reckless lol

@JonesyJames Yep! I heat it up on the stove! I take the onahole that needs some modding and turn it inside out. Heat up the garlic press and press it into were it needs to be and it extrudes the material. It changes the texture greatly. It feels a LOT better after.

@Zeke wow, okay. That is really interesting. Thanks for sharing

@KuroNoRider I do lots of 3d printing, but I only modify to make the onaholes more pleasurable, rather than create new.
KuroNoRider ( 263 )
@Ineviolet interesting... What kind of mods are we talking?
KuroNoRider ( 263 )
@Ineviolet you mean the handy? I know of it, but I bought parts to build an OSR2+twist from TempestMAX. I love it and highly recommend it!

@KuroNoRider Drill-Attachment onahole sounds crazy, we need you on a design team somewhere

@Tittielover134 lol! It was too intense but satisfied my curiosity
KuroNoRider ( 263 )
@Tittielover134 saw trap? like something from Saw that looks like it will kill you? lmao

@KuroNoRider I'm kind of shocked that I didn't think of this before for a use with 3d printers and even more shocked that it isn't more common.
StarTrekFan ( 74 )
@t23 True but from what I've seen of the 3d printing community it's less about cost effectiveness and more about the being able to do it and showing off. For example I've seen people make either components or full blown RPGS on 3d printing pages. Why? Because they can. So I don't know it just seems like a hub for creativity to me.
KuroNoRider ( 263 )
@StarTrekFan since posting this I've printed and built the Osr2+ with twist from TempestMAX. Thing is incredible. We're truly living in the future
KuroNoRider ( 263 )
@t23 truly you save a lot of money quickly from using a 3D printer. Not just can you make things you can't buy... But you can cheaply print things that you would otherwise have to buy for more money
KuroNoRider ( 263 )
@StarTrekFan lol it really feels like that sometimes. I love designing something and then having it in my hands the same day. Still wild to me every time!

@KuroNoRider It's control in ones hands it's purest form.

Nothing beats a warm apple pie as a DIY, just don't go over 4 thrusts.
Jokes aside, your DIYs sounds dope as hell. Usually when I think DIY toys, I think of rolled up towels or wet sponges stuck in a pringles can.
I'd definitely be interested in learning 3D printing in the future since it seems like a cool skill to have, aside from the unlimited onahole potential.
Would you happen to have any resources you would suggest for a complete beginner?
Also, is there a reason why you can't use TPE at home?
I remember watching a [video](https://youtu.be/u86nvQD9YUA?si=b4AMtypphN5pikDI&t=881) where factories keep the off cut to be melted down and reused. Is it not feasible to do that home/hobbiest level?

@Jwbo look up TempestMAX. Amazing machines and there are folks who sell completed builds for a good price so you don't need a printer or any experience.
KuroNoRider ( 263 )
@t23 Yeah, not even kidding when I say that building it made me need something else to build after completion. Like I was building it for a purpose, but the process itself is also quite fun!

@KuroNoRider I wonder how cost effective it would be to make a hip mold and pour material around a preexisting toy. There's probably some obstacle here I don't understand, but it would be neat to be able to convert any toy into a hip
KuroNoRider ( 263 )
@t23 That is a neat idea actually! But damn that's a lotta material to pour for one toy lol, especially if you like big butts.
KuroNoRider ( 263 )
@Ineviolet yeah... Only benefit is if you wanna make a truly unique toy. Not worth otherwise.
