August 2025 Giveaway #58 - Website tip/feature everyone should know/use! **Extended**
Before we get to the August giveaway, we want to talk about a couple of things:
1 - Tariffs.
This is still on-going (sort of), and hopefully will be finalized soon. If Japan stays the way it is currently at 15% and China stays at 34%, rather than raising price which no one likes. We might look at other ways to offset the increase. Perhaps increase the free shipping threshold from $75 to a higher number or possibly lowering the customer perks level. It's something we are still looking at. So hopefully things will be clear soon.
2 - Giveaways.
While trying to determine the giveaway winners. We still see so many randomly picked winners not following the rules. 4 out of the original 10 we picked didn't add a "FAVORITE" item. 1 didn't add a wish list not named "Wish List". Not sure what it is, but if people don't read and follow the instructions, they cannot win!
With that, let's move on to this month's giveaway:
Last month, we asked about what features you'd like added and we get comments from users wishing they can filter by Brand, or weight. Some even asked about adding a dark mode to our site! (These have been available on our site for years now).
So rather than asking about what we need to add, instead we want to ask: What is the one thing / feature / tip you'd recommend to new users visiting ToyDemon? This way the comments are immensely useful to new and old users that perhaps doesn't know much about using and navigating ToyDemon.
How to Enter:
1. Create an avatar. (Build it within your Profile if you haven't already)
2. Have a public wish list of at least 5 items that does not have "Wish List" in its name. (Create relatable wish list title such as "Best Oral" for your wish list and categorize them accordingly and help out others)
3. Favorite at least one of your purchased products. Help others out and select a few favorites if you have any! (Bronze members do not apply.)
4. Upvote this topic (Bronze members do not apply), vote in the poll, and answer the question above in the comments..
You must complete all 4 steps listed above to be eligible to win the giveaway.
Prize(s):
-5,000 Reward Points to 10 lucky winners!
-Winners will be randomly picked on 09/08/2025. **Extended to 09/30/2025**
Disclaimers:
* One entry per person, any account spamming will result in disqualification.
** You must sign up for a ToyDemon account in order to post in the community.

@**ToyDemon** I would mainly just recommend going and looking around at both the community discussions or the product discussions themselves to get a better idea of what to get.
Other than that, I always keep an eye out on offers, monthly perks, and then occasionally look over at the flash sales to see what stuff cycles in and out. Same thing with the polls, as I look ahead of what might arrive and decide if I want to get the pre-order point bonus.

@MaoAsakura we always appreciate and welcome you coming back to the site and checking things out. Did you know in regards stuff being on Flash Sale / Clearance, and what's new for pre-order, you can go to your account and just select to get notified when new products are available for pre-order / flash sale / clearance? Email are sent and displays the products within the email so you can quickly see what they are. If you are already aware, that's great, if not that would be another thing that is useful but unknown to new users also.
MaoAsakura ( 75 )

@**ToyDemon** Yeah, the email notifications are also another thing you could turn on. I usually keep notifications email notifications off for most things as I have a lot of clutter in mine, but it is a good tip for those who want to keep up to date. I tend to like to browse new reviews on stuff when I check around on the new things.

@**ToyDemon** If you spend a large lump say 150$ its you can use the coupon for a free gift usually some clearance toys.
HOWEVER if none of the options strike your fancy, you can and should check the lower tiers especially since they contain expendable items
like toy cleaner, drying sticks and toy bags that used to have their own coupons.

My advice/tips:
1) Make sure to check the "Reward Points" in your profile from time to time so that you don't waste points by having them expire.
2) Click on "THIS MONTH'S MEMBERS PERK" tile on the home page when making a purchase to see any deals for more saving.
3) Make sure to use any applicable coupon code when checking out; they can be found under the "Deals -> Coupons" tab.
E.g., free shipping, accessories, etc.
4) Do not always go for the most popular and highly rated products; there is no product where it's one size fits all. Go with what piques your interest the most.

@CasaB1anka Those are great tips! Thanks for sharing them. Last point is especially important.
We'd like to add that when reading the reviews, one can click on box "User Info" which filters reviews by users that have inputted their "size". Measure yourself if possible so you know the reviews with size similar to yours would be more accurate than someone that's a lot bigger or a lot smaller.

To new users I'd say take a look at the
community/ discussion tab, as it's users can help you out, with their experiences, making decisions, getting information or with recommendations. One can feel overwhelmed
getting started into this world. I know I did, that's were i looked first.

Minerword ( 16 )
@**ToyDemon** I don’t know how utilized/underutilized it is, but if you’re unsure of your next buy, it’s always fun to go through the wishlists that your previous faves are a part of! It’s often times gonna show you great products that could be buried under more well known ones. With the giveaways requiring more specific wishlists to be made, a lot of people have wishlists for products that are similar in quality/type/price in their wishlists! Also use dark mode, save your eyes some strain!
**ToyDemon** ( 11031 )

@Minerword that's a very good tip. It's why we want to push ppl to name their wish list the way we mentioned it in the giveaway. By naming a wish list something like "crazy oral 10 out of 10" and adding a ton of great oral sleeves to it. Others are able to look at the list and see something they might not have looked at before.
portcitydemon ( 5 )
@**ToyDemon** Instead of viewing the site as just a storefront, it's rewarding to realize how much information and experience you can read about in the reviews and discussion boards. Great recommendations or practices are all over the site; including much information you won't find on other social media/message boards.

Check a product's description before buying!
1. There is a difference between 1/2/3 layers and 2 holes can easily turn into 1 hole (maybe ruining your toy use experience).
2. Always check dimensions too. You will be really disappointed if the toy is smaller than your expectations.
3. Check the material used. Most are TPE, but just keep an eye out for it.

@**ToyDemon** My website tip is that plenty of the products include, somewhere among their images, a circular infographic captioned with characteristics, such as "Tough, Loose, Relaxing, High-stimulation" and "standard" in the center, and a point somewhere on that chart to indicate where that product would be on either continuum. Thing is, that infographic is so-often captioned in Japanese instead of English that some users may not have noticed it or recognized how it could help them! Using an online translator may help whenever you see such an infographic.

@**ToyDemon** Not sure if it's really a tip, but don't filter out an onahole simply based off of its rating. Several of my favorite purchases here have only 2.5-3 stars. I'm not saying the ratings are wrong, but everyone has their own unique preferences and things they value more, making the preferences highly individual. Reading the actual reviews are often more helpful. Maybe someone gives a 2-star because the onahole is "too soft and not much stimulation" but a soft toy is exactly what you are looking for.
Sensei23444 ( 1 )
@**ToyDemon** As a new user to the site myself, one thing I would reccomend to the new users would be to read both the wishlists and previous reviews for a certain product that you are looking for as it has helped me find my first purchase.
V22 ( 36 )
@**ToyDemon** Although a good portion of users have mentioned it already I'm going to have to say to check out the "discuss" tab. When I first joined this site I was able to find so much useful info thru the community like helpful tips, recommended products, website changes, and giveaways. In my opinion I think it's the best feature on this site especially for anyone new. Also as a bonus I would also recommend the "Helpful Info" section under the "Masturbators" tab Which I feel like works as a good base for them to check out first.

I would always check the comments on anything I browse. 1 tip I would recommend would be sorting by most recent as it would give a more fresher sense of what to expect. Not to ignore the top reviews, but always consider the time at which things are reviewed because who knows what other factors might influence them. Maybe the price changed or some trend might be happening. I know a few people that would only read the top comment which isn't always a good thing to rely on when making a purchase.

@**ToyDemon** One thing that I found super helpful when I started looking at onaholes was this little gem of an article that you posted waaaaaay back providing an intro to the Tomax series:
https://www.toydemon.com/blog/tomax-series-intro
I think Tomax has always been a fantastic introduction to the world of onaholes because their main lineups are pretty gimmick-free, no-nonsense, durable, relatively affordable for the masses, and all around pretty neutral onaholes. Plus, they come in a wide variety of hardnesses, so one can explore their preference for an ideal hardness while tightness/texture/onahole shape remain constant.
Given the wide variety of onahole in both Tomax's lineup and just in general, it was really nice to have a dedicated webpage where I can compare all of the onaholes in their lineup and find one that interested me enough to try out. Often it's tough comparing onaholes across the website because the toy descriptions don't really capture the essence of each onahole, and trying to use reviews to determine what one likes can be subjective unless the reviewer explicitly compares two onaholes in the review where one is are already in the shopper's collection.
I think it would be great if similar guides could be made for other lines or brands of onahole and comparing each one; I know there are some dedicated Japanese websites that review and assign rankings/characteristics to onahole in depth that have been super helpful for me. But for now, the Tomax guide is great for anyone looking to start their journey into Tomax's onaholes, whether you're newly getting into the hobby or just generally unfamiliar to Tomax's offerings.

Always skim the reviews tab below the product to check for user submitted photos! The details tab also has a "tunnel length" measurement on a lot of products, but not all.

@**ToyDemon** Tips I would recommend would be use the community discussions to feel out if certain toys fit your tastes and maybe find new one you wouldn't have thought to try. Also look at what sales, offers, and perks they change more than you think and keep an eye on your reward points.
Stars435 ( 1 )
@**ToyDemon** Just like people mentioned in the comments, many products are out of stock and in high demand. If you could review your backend data, the "notify me" requests, you’d get a good idea of which products to prioritize for import. I would fully support you importing from Japan instead of China, since tariffs have affected pricing.

@**ToyDemon** The discussion tab can be very helpful and have lots of information.

@**ToyDemon** A feature everyone should know, is that most bundles allow you to change out individual items for alternatives that are similarly themed. I personally didn't realize that this was a thing until not too long ago.

@**ToyDemon** While the ratings/.reviews and thorough tunnel pictures are my main features I look at while shopping for onaholes I have to say once you find reviewers you like or think share your preferences def use the feature that allows you to look at all their other reviews so find other ones that you may not have searched for otherwise. Good way to find some hidden gems.

I find fit to be particularly important so using the size filter on the left helps narrow down a lot of products. Combining that with the price, rating, and weight filters, helps a lot as well to quickly narrow down the search. However, some products don't have reviews so sometimes would have to remove the rating filter.
The bonus gift rewards program at https://www.toydemon.com/bonus-gc-purchase is like getting a gift card at 50% off. Pretty useful during repeat purchase times.
Lastly the compare feature on the product page is useful as well to get a quick side-by-side comparison for multiple products and it's not just comparing 2 items which is actually super helpful.

@**ToyDemon** For newcomers, I’d definitely look at community discussions and product discussions when looking for a toy or just to know what to get. I’m still rather new here and this helped a lot when choosing for myself. As well as the coupons for free shipping or gifts on here and the perks.

@**ToyDemon** a tip for new users, is to keep track of when your rewards points expire.
you can see the expiration date in "rewards points" page that can be accessed if you click on the profile icon and navigate to "store activities" section

You get what you pay for. I've had 1 amazing TPE onahole that was a cheap $20 usd thing, but every other one around that price has been just alright. The more expensive toys are more likely to give a better orgasm. The first time I used an onahole it was the cheapest one at a sex shop, like $10 usd, and I wasn't impressed. Then I got one that was $30 and it was the most mind blowing orgasm I had by myself up to that point. Later I discovered ToyDemon and multi-layer toys and my orgasms just kept getting better.
Looking back, I kept dipping my toe with cheap toys and slowly ramped up to more expensive ones. Once I got the better/more expensive toys I didn't want to touch the cheaper ones (for the most part). I would have been better off just buying the more expensive toys I was eyeing first instead of wasting money on cheaper toys I put aside for better ones.

Okay, it seems I am one of the few people who did not choose a favorite under purchased items. It would be great to add a favorite button for each product that I have bought on its product page, as the favorite option is only selectable under the purchased category in account settings which took a bit of researching for me to figure it out.
Other than that, is Toydemon also affected by the halted shipment notice from JP post?
Onto the question, I think the feature that most new TD users should utilize would be reviewing their purchased products. Those reward points rack up quite a lot and can be served useful for their next big purchase.

@**ToyDemon** I recommend after getting a few toys, find some reviews or people who commented about the ones you like and follow them. It makes deciding which toy to get when another person also bought and wrote reviews on other toys that could also be your favorite as well.
Another is to do your research on community here and other sites and reviews to get a good idea on the toys because they are a lot of toys and I feel that a lot of them are samey.

@**ToyDemon** If you want to buy an onahole in the 20-25 dollar range with free shipping you should buy from the Pre-order section but it usually sells out pretty fast and usually restocks early in the month

@**ToyDemon** Sign up for email notifications for sales and news updates! From flash sales to clearances, you can save a ton and not have to worry about checking in every single day to see what's been updated. The same goes for special coupons and sales, such as the currently ongoing back to school event.

My tip would be to don't forget to check out other people's favorites and wish lists if you need recommendations. If someone left a good review on a product you like, you probably have similar tastes and could find something else from their profile.

@**ToyDemon** Specifically for new buyers, make sure to read reviews to get an idea what others suggest! Sleep on it for a few nights before buying so you don't impulse buy something you later might change your mind on.
Also, make sure to use the FG50/FG75 coupons as well if you're getting onaholes! They come with some pretty neat products that can help clean or manage your toys better.

@**ToyDemon** the issue is its kinda confusing to tell where setting favorite item is. it took me a while and im not sure if i did it right still. same with wishlist stuff. the poll seems unresponsive when i click it and the upvote and downvote seems to reset and im not sure if my vote went through.
definitely recommend the forum though for giveaways and reading reviews

@**ToyDemon** Always read reviews for things you're interested in. They can have updated details on small changes for toys that were made later in production you may or may not like.
Remember to use your reward points before they expire. Read the rewards program and make sure to set reminders for yourself to use the points.

@**ToyDemon** Something I’d definitely recommend is always do your research, especially if you’re a first time buyer. Read reviews, search community forums etc. Not just on a onahole you’re looking into but just onaholes and how to care for them in general as well. There’s a lot of talk about how to wash and disinfect them but when I was first getting into this nobody told me how often I’d have to powder some of these toys.
YesItsAvoid ( 47 )

@**ToyDemon** Its always worth to get the free shipping. if you live close to Illinois(I think that's where their based.) you will get shipped to fast it seems. its true for me at least. use up your points and check the reviews always. pay attention to how many layers something has or if it is a certain edition like soft or hard, esc.
YesNoMaybeIDK ( 16 )
@**ToyDemon** Tip: If you ever buy the ToyDemon Dry Stick, buy several. You may drop it one day and KABLAMMO, it breaks. Also, buy the stick if you have small holes because they fit perfectly for drying. I have a small pecker, so all my holes are small and the dry stick can fit in every one of them.
Now, as for the tariffs, who did you exactly vote for?

@**ToyDemon** If you are a repeat shopper or plan on ordering new items soon and if you have recently ordered items in the past 90 days, consider the Bonus Reward Purchase Program. You can purchase discounted reward points based on the money you spent on a previous and recent order, which can save you money if you plan on using those points before they expire.
HeroineAddiction ( 21 )
@**ToyDemon** I would say it's best to pay attention to whether something is Single Layer, Dual Layer, or Triple Layer, as that's a tradeoff you'll need to make. Do you prefer durability (single layer) or better textures (double/triple layer)?
Although there's no official softness rating anymore, that's another thing to pay attention to in the reviews/discussions. Everyone has their own preference, which is why the ZXY is a good comparison you can bring up in the discussions tab because it's one of the most popular ones out there. As with anything, the more specific you are and the more details you provide in the discussions, the more likely others will be able to help you find what you're looking for.

The reviews are the #1 thing i would tell user to carefully read.
After you guys updated the incentives for reviews, i think people have been more detailed in their reviews which will give the consumer more advantages to buy the item of choice

@**ToyDemon** One thing I would recommend is looking at people's comments and the description on the products that you're looking to get!! It's great to see how big the hole is, what material its made out of, and any problems/good features it might have just from a little bit of reading.

For new users:
Step 1, Sign up and make an account before your first major purchase so you can take advantage of those rewards points.
Check out the new Bundle deals under Deals menu and save on a variety of toys that pique a fantasy curiosity.
Also, while the search and filters help, you get to know more detail about the toys in the review section and there is a search bar so you can search for example "noise" or "scent" (lube).

@**ToyDemon** I'd suggest people to engage with reviews whenever applicable. Essentially, read them, think about if particular ones actually apply to you (since some come down to preference, like how soft an onagole is), and write reviews, especially since writing them provides the community with insight on the product and gives you reward points!

@**ToyDemon** Before you buy, make sure you look at the bundles before ordering. You might just end up saving a ton of money. I know I did for my first purchase.

@**ToyDemon** Be sure to make use of the perks that you get as a member, no matter what tier! Also the discussion page has a lot of information if you need it.

@**ToyDemon** It's been a bit since I logged on last. One tip is if you want to save money is to stop logging on so you're not tempted to buy the deals. But seriously use reward points and check on them. Not sure if you still get them from reviews but that's a good way to get some reward points to put towards a purchase. Also if you don't want it showing up to your house they offer FedEx drop off location which can avoid some awkward moments at home too.

You can swap items in bundles using the up and down arrows to change them up and the available items are actually very good or popular items.
Definitely looking forward to more bundles. Community pick was neat and a monthly rotation or something would be a nice addition too

@**ToyDemon** Aside from general "read the reviews" which I feel should be standard advice when buying things, for ToyDemon, I would suggest picking up multiple variety of onaholes at once. This saves on shipping, makes things interesting, but also serves as a reference point to see what you actually like.

Most products don't come with storage, so don't forget that, you need somewhere to store your buys!
Be sure to clean and dry your products properly.
Check the new products page, or the clearance/on sale products, you never know what you might find there!
Just because something is rated higher, that doesn't mean it's necessarily better, just be smart about it.
You can make a wish list to remember things you want to buy next time, but you could check other wish lists too!
Remember to check how large a product is to make sure you can store it.
Don't forget about your rewards points, otherwise they might expire, you can use them to save on something maybe you were putting off buying.
Leaving reviews helps other buyers, so be sure to leave one with your opinions or thoughts.
You can try out products that look interesting to you, because you never know what you could wind up enjoying most!

@**ToyDemon** I feel like most of the features are laid out rather well, and the UI/UX of the site is pretty solid (at least, I've never had issues with it).
As a general tip though, I'd say to try to buy in bulk as much as your budget will allow (especially after your first purchase where you already know you enjoy onaholes). Bulk purchasing is more efficient for shipping, so nearly every site (ToyDemon included) will incentivize it somehow.
Free shipping for the contiguous US? Free stuff on large orders? Savings on shipping for international deliveries? These coupons are all available to encourage bigger orders.
Plus, if there's a member perk active for a specific type of product you want, you might be able to save more money buying all of those items in one go.

@**ToyDemon** Really surprised that people didn't know about the dark mode, what else would the crescent moon be for?
Also wish the "have a wishlist not named wishlist" wasn't a requirement, really did prefer to have everything in one section.
My tips would be:
During your first visit, get familiar with each section of the top navigation bar, it is much more powerful than other site's and gets you pretty much everywhere you need.
After your first purchase is completed and delivered, go to your account and put in an RMA return under 'bonus points'.
It's like buying a gift card at a discount, and even if you don't want any more toys you will still likely need to refill a lotion or cleaning product w/in a year.

One tip I found out much later (and still always forget to do) is using the RMA Returns feature on recent purchases and selecting the 'Bonus Points Purchase' reason. This allows you to buy 10% of the purchase value back as reward points, at a discount, and is a good investment toward your future purchases.

@**ToyDemon** I'd recommend finding a good surface with preferred height to put the onahole toy on with a cloth/towel underneath to catch lube and messiness and the fuck the toy using your hips. Rotate the angle for different sensations

For new users I think the best idea is to use the search filter and pick toys with different types (size, weight, brand, simulation, brand) so that they know what they like. It often takes more than 10 tries to find your perfect toy.

Since some products are updates on old discontinued products you can check the hidden discontinued section (https://www.toydemon.com/discontinued) for reviews on older products. This is useful for when the new product has little or no reviews, but it is just an updated version of an older product. It might not be the exact same, but can still give some insight on what people think of the product.
ex:
Pure Bride Idealism https://www.toydemon.com/masturbators/torso/scaled-replicas/pure-bride-idealism
vs
Pure Bride Idealism x6.7 www.toydemon.com/masturbators/torso/scaled-replicas/pure-bride-idealism-x-6-7

@**ToyDemon** Take advantage of the community page! There is a lot of activity from the members so read through the posts cause there are a lot of helpful information. Also, read the reviews for the onaholes, do not only look at the rating only there is a lot of information that is in the reviews that might suggest that you would like the onahole more than what the rating might be.

@**ToyDemon** My tip for new users is to check the monthly perks and offers to see how they can save a bit on their order. You might also find yourself looking at discounted products you wouldn't have otherwise thought about.

Props to portcitydemon, CYH, and chabuchabu for insisting new customers to read reviews for the product of interest. Reviews provide insight of user experience that cannot easily be explained from the product description nor screenshots alone.
Another useful feature Toydemon provides are their Helpful Info guides. "How to clean and store your masturbators" is a must read for customers new to onaholes. I ruined my first toy using a different lubricant (olive oil), and that led me to properly understand and appreciate the effort behind these creations.
I will preclude myself from this giveaway. Thanks again

@**ToyDemon** I would say check the flash sale/ clearance section, I got 2 deal 1 from flash sale and 1 from clearance and they are still last till now, easily in my top 5 favorite. Also when the ratings on a product are too few you can check the existed reviewers profile and see if they review items that you already have for better reference on what they want to aim for ( softness, texture, weight, etc)
chabuchabu ( 2 )
@**ToyDemon** I would recommend new users to check out all those awesome reviews under the items. This the thing that separate ToyDemon and other websites. I love the communities here giving a lot of reviews, like tons of reviews~ Which I always read them to get more details than just the product details.
CYH ( 36 )
@**ToyDemon** For new users: Make sure to read user reviews carefully—and don’t hesitate to start a discussion under the product page! Important details like size, material, and internal structure can really impact your experience. I also noticed there’s now a Compare option on the site, which lets you add products to a comparison list—super helpful when deciding between similar items.
Also, I personally forgot to upvote once (the little arrow wasn’t super obvious), and I didn’t realize you have to “Favorite” items specifically from your Purchased list—I confused it with the star used to subscribe to product reviews on the product page. Since there was a quiz in the past to help users double-check website features, maybe it’s worth bringing that back? It could really help reduce disqualifications over small things. I learned the pre-order feature through that

Bundles! They are tucked away in deals, and only sometimes appear on the front page. Might be smart to have them linked in the beginner's guide section as well.
Otherwise, community giveaways and the perks system in general is quite generous compared to other online marketplaces but this wasn't something I noticed right away.
