I bought this toy for 50% off using a “buy one, buy another for 50% off” sale at the time.
Many praised TOMAX for their reliability and quality etc etc so I took the dive.

There was no odor when opening the plastic wrapping however the surface texture was extremely rough to the touch. This felt like a red flag to me since every toy I’ve owned, even hard ones, have been smooth, soft, and fluffy right out of the plastic wrapping. This just felt really rough when running my hand across the surface as if it’s already been used.

First time cleaning went smoothly and I did not notice anything off. The problems came after first use which is further detailed below.

Before getting to the good, I’ll list the bad first.

-1: Rapid Material Degradation

I had a bit of a surprise after first use as the material at the entrance was pealing quite a bit. I attached pictures. It was as if I took the entrance and violently rubbed across a pair of really old low quality jeans for hours. I’ve never seen this on first use with any toy and it to no longer happens with longer term use on other toys after changing my methods. Furthermore, the toy moves vertically up and down, not horizontally across a surface with high fiction so no idea on this one. Everything was lubricated appropriately or the skin of my shaft would also be peeling off.

The material also became VERY VERY stick and tacky after second wash. This only worsened as I continued using the toy for around a month. I’ve never had a toy degrade this quickly on me before and looking at the price and how TOMAX is supposed to be coveted for its “premium material”, I was pretty disappointed. Powdering gets rid of the stickiness/tackiness but leaves it feeling VERY rough. Never experienced this either as powdering often leaves toys smooth, soft, and fluffy.

-1: Very hard time cleaning and injecting lubricant with syringe

Due to how large the g-spot is, it’s very difficult for me to inject the lubricant into the toy as usual using a syringe. I have to hold open the entrance and kind of lift the g-spot with three fingers. If I’m having this much difficulty directly injecting the lubricant, how are others faring by just pouring lubricant at the entrance?

This also makes it hard to insert a dry stick. The first time I used a dry stick, there were bits and pieces of the material sticking to it when I pulled it out. This was extremely surprising as I’ve never had this happen before. I thought maybe the stick became too rough so I smoothed it out with sandpaper but the result was the same. I figured I have to hold the entrance and spot open when inserting the dry stick. This stopped the inside pealing but I still found some sort of thin mucus on the stick when pulling out that I could never explain. I had to sandpaper it down again to get rid of this stuff after I stopped using the toy.
The g-spot also makes it difficult washing the inside. You really have to constantly open the entrance and lift the g-spot while cleaning everything out since this spot easily traps residue at the end and simply washing water around isn’t enough. I end up spending a lot more time cleaning this toy than usual.

There was also a couple of times where I inserted the syringe, injected the lubricant the usual way and found bits and pieces of the material sticking to random spots of the length of the blunt tip upon pulling out. This is also what lead me to opening the entrance and lifting the g-spot for practically everything which is quite frankly a pain to deal with all the time. This is some crazy material degradation that I’ve never seen.

Maybe I received a bad batch, I don’t know. Kind of strange to witness all of this when so many praise TOMAX. Maybe the softer versions are much more premium? Could be that something is off with regular and soft is where it’s at.

Now for the good.

The inside textures are really simple and the only major stimulation you will receive is from the g-spot. This makes the toy extremely easy to handle and use if you want to have a short or long session. Depending on where you press your thumb, and how much force you put in, you can finish quickly or extend your session.
No problems establishing good suction. It’s bulky and I want to say durable if not for the severe problems seen so far.

Towards the end I decided to give it a bit more time with Toy’s Heart onatsuyu in case my problems ended up being the sample. The toy definitely felt better to me with onatsuyu. My feeling is the supplied sample is way too thick and needs to be mixed with water. The sample was not the cause of these material problems though.

My overall experience was a letdown. I give it 3/5 and I’m being generous. Do I recommend this toy at the $60 price point? Definitely not. It’s a hard sell even at $30.

The first thing I noticed was how premium the material looked and felt. The toy is soft but at the same time pretty thick and durable. Usually soft toys are prone to breakage so this is a plus.
The end of the toy is layered with thick material so no worries about breaking through for the giants. The overall thickness also helps with suction and makes sure no air enters in/out other than the entrance.

Very easy to clean and dry but be careful since water will squirt out at you and everywhere like an exploding geyser due to how the design is centered around pressure.
Another thing I noticed was that the material didn’t require powdering after drying to avoid being sticky and tacky. This is the first toy I’ve owned that has this characteristic. After drying was a pleasant surprise to find the material soft and feeling as if it just came out of the box.
Due to habit I still powdered it but unfortunately after over a month of use the material indeed begins to very slowly degrade and the stickiness/tackiness that you see with others shows up. This is solved with powdering.

This toy is very particular in how you use it. Unlike others, half of the tunnel has no texture or very little at all since it’s designed to give you strong suction and closed vacuum. You have to learn to use the first half for stimulation. Once you master how to use this toy the stimulation is extremely high. This is one of the most stimulating toy I’ve had and combined with the strong suction provides a really unique sensation that I’ve never experienced with other toys.
It’s also very easy to get the air out.

-0.5 Handling
This toy can be pretty hard to master. If you don’t use it properly then it will feel pretty lousy.
I don’t recommend it to new users.
This is also really not good for long sessions unless you want to develop death grip syndrome and become completely desensitized in one day.

-0.5 Price (bought at $68.95)
Visiting Toy’s Heart website directly lists this as 8000 JPY which converts to around $54.5 USD with current exchange rates so that kind of checks out.
Visiting Amazon JP (you will need VPN with JP servers to see onahole products) the price fluctuates between 3300 JPY to 4000 JPY so at max around $27 USD which just makes you want to cry. Then again you can’t ask TD to compete with Amazon JP.

If there’s no immediate want for this toy then I would definitely wait for some sort of seasonal discount or sale. Either direct or the usual buy group of toys for overall large discount or buy one and another for half off etc.

I usually create reviews after going through the 12 mL free sample lubricant that comes with toys but I found myself continuing to use this long after the free sample was out.
For one reason or another I was addicted to this toy for a while and found it difficult to move to the next and that should say something.

This toy had a slight odor and was slightly oily upon first opening its plastic wrapping. This was solved after its first cleaning.

It's very easy to handle. This depends on the person, but its stimulation is mid-tier for me. Not too high or too low. It's easy to establish good vacuum for some nice suction and lubrication does not leak out. The inside textures are good as well.
The cost for what you get is also reasonable.

I give it a -1 due to quality control concerns. When I first opened the plastic wrapping, I found what looked like a bubble at the closed end. When I stretched it a little this bubble popped into a tear. Having a tear or hole at the end pretty much renders a toy useless. Thankfully, after maybe around a month of use, This tear didn't breach any further into the layer and it's still holding strong. I can already see my head eventually popping through this spot though...

The longer I use this toy the stickier/tackier(?) the outside material gets. It got to the point that the towel sticks to it like glue when I roll it over when drying. This is solved after applying drying powder (after drying with towel...) and the outside material becomes smooth again but still.

This would be 5/5 in my books but 4/5 due to quality issues. Still very much worth the price though!

Cleans the toy and gets rid of any germs without degrading the material.
I usually use this upon first opening a new toy and spray down the inside and outside. Make sure to wash afterwards. I also use this before putting a toy away for long storage (also wash afterwards then powder).

I hold the toy horizontally and place the spray nozzle as close to the hole as possible. The solution spreads good enough inside and I massage it in.

I think this is pretty good for the amount you pay.

To sum it up, everything about this toy is “just right”.

You’ll need to apply the right amount of lubrication. If you apply too much, you won’t feel anything. If you apply too little, the inside will feel really rough and uncomfortable.

You’ll also need to establish a vacuum for good suction. If not, you will also have a hard time feeling anything. This toy requires more work than others to do that, but once done, it’s pretty stable.

The inside design is nothing outstanding. It will give you low stimulation. If you’re looking for something that will let you pop in minutes or give you a wild ride throughout the session, look elsewhere. This is for a nice, calm, and smooth long ride. The textures are designed “just right” for it.

The vacuum is also “just right”. It’s not too weak as to allow air in or lubrication out, or too strong that it will strangle your member and spit it out if it becomes soft. If your member loses it’s toughness during the session for some reason, this toy won’t spit it out like others. In fact, during the soft state, the suction doesn’t go away! So you don’t have to start all over again from insertion.

You have pretty good control over the long session when you want to finish.
This toy will also give you the best feeling during release towards the end. It’s not too overstimulating when you become really sensitive during release, and feels really good. Again, the textures were designed for that and is “just right”. I’m guessing that’s why this toy is so popular in JP.
In exchange you won’t feel as good as other toys during the ride.

The best thing that comes to mind is that it gently embraces your member during the ride and won’t let go. I guess that’s the theme of this toy.

I give it 4/5.

-1 Point because I do not think it’s worth it at mid $40’s.
I’m also concerned about its durability. The top is kind of thin.

I would it give 3/5 if it can’t last a couple of months at this price point but seeing how I have a large backlog of toys to try out, I probably won’t come around back to this one in the near future to see how long it lasts.
