I bought a hips toy (extreme pleasure) recently. It is heavier than what I think and cleaning becomes a nontrivial task compared to onaholes below 2lbs. Today I tried to flush it using the water straight out of the faucet and it did not clean the interior very well because my fingers are not long enough to reach the bottom. Are there any tricks to clean it thoroughly? Also, how do you guys keep a hip toy in general? I currently wrapped it in a microfiber towel after spraying some anti-bacterial toy cleaner. It that good?

@Capybara For cleaning my hip toys, I rinse under the faucet, but I also use a douche bulb with a long wand when I need a deeper clean. Every now and again, I'll do peroxide rinse. After completely drying the insides with a dry stick (some people use different methods) and the outside with a microfiber towel, I'll dust the toy with baby powder, place it in a homemade microfiber bag, and place it in a drawer.

Hey, I also recently bought the extreme pleasure hip 3rd recently. I think you're gonna have to take it to a bathtub. If you MUST use a sink, I would recommend getting a turkey baster to flush the holes, with some gel hand soap. Use wooden dowels or even chopsticks. I use in conjunction with paper towels or microfiber to dry. Spray some toy cleaner. Then I let it air out for a bit. Starch or powder to maintain the texture if necessary. Wrap, then you're all set.

@Capybara These two guys basically covered it. Depending on the size of the hip you'll need to exterior rinse/clean at the bathtub or a large work sink. I bring a bowl of water and soap solution usually detergent, but alcohol or toy cleaner is fine. Use a Douche or Turkey Baster to really get in there and flush out the lube etc a few times. Rinse exterior with running water from faucet/shower or sink. Towel dry. To dry the insides, a dry stick is best, but yes using a thin towel/microfiber with a 1/8" or 1/4" diameter wooden dowel (cheap to get at any Home Depot or Lowes) or a long chopstick does the trick.
I store mine in their original boxes at the bottom of my closet. But yes wrapping them in a towel or keeping them in one of the larger TD Toy Bags or any kind of Linen/Canvas etc bag is fine. Just something to keep it off the carpet fibers and the oils from seeping elsewhere.
