Limit reviews to 1 per user per product and allow editing reviews so that multiple reviews by the same person doesn't mess with overall ratings.
This is a feature request to Toydemon, the reason I'm making it a post is because I want to show that I'm not the only one who's bothered by this and I'm almost certain I'm not.
I've seen on multiple occasions a getting multiple reviews by the same person, this could be either that they changed their mind over time and decided it's not as bad/good as they originally thought. This lowers/raises the product's overall rating due to their original review being counted alongside their secondary review, not to mention they get points for both reviews as if they are for separate products.
I propose a system that limits reviews to 1 per user per product and lets users to edit their review & rating of a product after the fact.
Edited reviews would go through the same process regular reviews go through for approval to prevent spam. This wouldn't be any extra work for ToyDemon as they need to approve the secondary reviews anyway.
Edited reviews would not be granted extra reward points.
This would also fix products getting an artificially higher/lower score since they would only get a single rating per person instead of multiple.
Who else would appreciate this feature?

@Jonarby Well, I upvoted this and agree somewhat, but I have not noticed it being a big problem. Also it is sometimes good to see how and why someone changed their mind. So I am not sure I would place a high priority on changing it.

We have kinda started to do this in a way. We will let the user submit, 2nd or 3rd review, however they wish. But update the original one with EDIT and its Date. That way only 1 review and all of its info is available.
We do ask people that if they do, maybe mention it as 2nd updated review, so it's easier for us to determine.
And as Belmar mentioned, it really only is a few people that is doing it. That's why we choose to do a manual solution to this issue rather than spending developer time to fix this. Hope you guys can understand.

@baddragon69 Please read over my comment again. If you want to make changes, just submit a new review and we will update the original (rating) and include edits.
We don't see how that is any different then allowing you to edit the review? Nothing changes from your end, you give us your new opinion. As we said, "it really only is a few people that is doing it. That's why we choose to do a manual solution to this issue rather than spending developer time to fix this. Hope you guys can understand."

@**ToyDemon** As a web developer myself and a SEO it is difficult for me to imagine why it is not just a simple change to allow for editing on a text box and a change to the star rating. But maybe the website is programmed differently to what I am used to dealing with.
At least fix it so people can delete posts and comments in the community forums.

@baddragon69 @**ToyDemon** Agree that being able to edit or delete here in the forum would be great. I have made multiple typos in my messages here when posting hastily that I wish I could update. Hopefully editable reviews will come soon, too, but I understand why they’re not a thing yet.
