Does anyone have experiences with special ordering items? I'd love to hear about it!
Hello! Toydemon has a feature which allows you to special order items that are not currently in stock, I am currently in the process of trying to get one of these ordered. I'm currently waiting for a purchase link from Toydemon, I imagine they're probably busy with their 4th of july sale, which is fine, I can be patient.
Anyway I wanted to know what your experiences were as far as special ordering items go, did it go smoothly? I want to hear all about it!

@Jonarby My experience was pretty good - sent them a request for Virgin Age - Graduation in 2019 (now discontinued) and luckily they had already ordered a batch/were making it available for pre-order. So not exactly the 'special order' flow, but a positive experience, as I was made aware it'd be up 'soon'.
All of my support tickets usually had <24hr response time. I'm sure COVID + Holidya + Sale keeping them busy.

@Jonarby So the process is pretty simple and as follows:
1. Fill out the form.
2a. We will then see if it's available from the manufacturers' website we often order from (NPG, A-One, ToysHeart, MagicEyes, EXE and etc) and if cost is already available on their site.
2b. If above doesn't pan out, we will contact the manufacturers above if they can get it for us and the cost if so.
3. We will respond back to you and let you know an ALL IN price. Meaning we will order it, get it to us, and ship it out to you. No more additional fees.
4. Since we order at least weekly from Japan through Air Freight (depending on the vendor), your special order item will get shipped along with them at a much lower cost than if you were to just order it from Japan individually.
5. We receive it and will ship it to you.
Note that point 2 through 4 really depends on how easy it is to get the product and how soon the manufacturer can get it for us. If you get lucky and everything fits smoothly, you can get your special order within a couple of weeks, if not, it could take way longer. Think of it as you driving to work and hitting all green lights and is able to get to work 5-10 mins faster vs. hitting all red lights. It really just depends and we can't give you the exact time frame. But rest assured that if we are not able to get it, we will provide you with a full refund.
