This review is extremely long overdue. I originally purchased this doll back when it released in early October and it took me a while to properly use it and try to get a feel for it. Let me preface this next sentence by saying that I've been an active user of the Meiki Plush DX for about two and a half years now. That's being said, using this doll feels kind "off" in comparison. I believe that the DX was pretty close to being perfect, and after six months of regularly using both, I find myself going back to the DX way more frequently than the EVO.

I don't know if this is because how I personally use the doll, but every position with the DX feels incredible and easy to work with. The EVO on the other hand feels a lot more clumsy and finicky with the articulation in the arms and legs, which I definitely thought would be a plus for positioning. There are definitely some positions that work better with the EVO than the DX, but I think the vast majority of realistic ones you're likely to use will be much more comfortable with the DX.

This isn't to say that the EVO is a bad product, it's definitely a quality doll and I hope it lasts me just as long, if not longer, than the DX. But I can't help but feel that this should be in its own category. I know this is supposed to be an "upgrade" to the DX, but I really hope the DX comes back one day as it's different enough to the EVO that I feel they should be sold alongside each other and not just one or the other.

If this doll is improved upon in the future I really hope that R&D put a whole lot more thought and energy into the articulation, this feels really bare bones, but I after trying both the DX and EVO I have faith that you guys can create something truly special. Also, more weight would be nice. The weight of this is definitely an improvement on the DX, and I hope that the next doll we get is even heavier to add more of life like factor. Sometimes it can feel like you're banging a pillow with a sleeve strapped to it.

Overall, this is a great doll and I doubt anyone is going to regret this purchase.

Easily the best black friday purchase I've made. At 190USD and free shipping there's no going wrong with this one. This was expected to arrive in five to ten business days with the free standard shipping, I'm glad that I received this in as little as three days. The only complaint I really have is that this was shipped in a box with literally no packing, no peanuts, no paper, no foam, nothing. This isn't a big deal, seeing as it's a plush toy, as such it can't really be damaged. However, when I went to pick it up at the FedEx office, the box was visibly ripped and torn, so much that if someone took a good look they'd easily be able to tell what was inside. It'd be nice if in the future you could add a little packing or something. Now, on to the review. Let me start by saying that this thing is way bigger than the pictures make it look. It's a really good size, and genuinely makes you feel like you're having sex with another human being. While it is quite big, the proportions on it are a bit weird. I purchased a few lingerie sets and a wig that I had intended to put on this, but even in a small, these sets were still a little large for the doll, the wig also fell right off as the cap was too big for it's head. To all of you who plan on clothing this doll, I suggest you wait until receiving it to buy clothes for it, and possibly buying clothing for it in person for good measure. The opening in the back is extremely handy for positioning onaholes properly, however, maneuvering through it can be a little tricky, especially if your hands get a little sweaty like mine. I found it very easy to use if you wrap the onahole in a cloth or a sock and sliding it in like that. This problem is non existent if you're using a fleshlight, tenga or other sleeve with a hard plastic shell. If you plan on using one of these, beware that missionary position can be a little uncomfortable, as the top of the sleeve bulges out of the back of the doll. The drawstrings around the sleeve insert are fantastic and really hold anything you put in it firmly in place, if you like to hold your sleeves with a death grip, this will work to your advantage. One problem I do have with this doll, though, is the arms. While I do appreciate them being there, they just sort of fall in place of flail around depending on how rough or gentle you're being with the doll. As far as my own personal use, I haven't really gotten much use out of them other than a cosmetic one. After looking at the previous meiki plush, the one without arms or a head, I can't imagine being able to put a decent bra on it without the straps constantly falling off of the shoulders, so I suppose the arms do serve a small purpose. I only hope that if they make an improved model in the future, they put a type of high quality wiring in the limbs for posing and positioning purposes. Another thing I wanted to talk about is the head and neck, I know a lot of people are thrown off by the blank face, but this is easily remedied by throwing a spandex bondage mask on it, you can also find some good masks with anime faces on them if that's more your to your liking as well. The head is a tad small, so if you plan on buying a wig for it, you might want to check out the sizes of the head and wig and getting a wig a bit smaller so that it can be firmly placed onto the head without it falling off. The neck is also quite flimsy, if you're doing any sort of position with the doll on top of you, expect it to look like it's head banging at a metal concert. This isn't really much of problem, though, I might just be nitpicking at this point. On a final note, I thought that perhaps after purchasing this, I might be able to retire my body pillow, boy was I wrong. Trying to sleep while holding this thing has been really uncomfortable for me, I'm truly envious of all of you that have mentioned being able to sleep with it. Overall, this was a fantastic purchase and I hope to get a lot of use out of it. I implore anyone thinking of buying this to do it. It truly is worth the money, especially if you get it on sale as I did. I'll be eagerly awaiting the next addition in this series of dolls.
