I ordered the Rune Pharmacy Rene Tits 2 and was seriously looking forward to them when I got home and found the package had been stolen. This has happened to other people in my neighborhood. I'm currently trying to contact Toydemon about how to get a reimbursement because I'm not going to rest on this. Has anyone been in the same situation themselves? How did you handle it?

@milenavfan The issue is: you're not ENTITLED to a refund. But as Jonarby mentioned, TD sounds like they're gracious enough to try to find a resolution if you actually act serious about the situation and make a report for a stolen package to your local authorities. You can file a police report online if you're afraid they're gonna ask what was in it. If they do, say it was a Bluray player; they're not going to ask for the receipt, you're not making an Insurance Claim. You don't have to say the phrase "sex toy" if you choose to describe the contents of the stolen package—and I'm pretty sure they don't care about that, they just care that shit's getting stolen. It's probably wise to do so, in case other neighbors have complained about it already; more reports mean they might start driving down your street once in a while. You can try making a report to Fedex as well; to be honest, I don't know why you're not more adamant about getting a reimbursement from them, it seems like they're the ones who screwed up. Fedex is super inconsistent where they decide to hold a package for several days because it's actually moving too fast compared to their estimate (which they do intentionally to ensure 2-3 day shipping is always faster than 4-5), other times they get to it to me a day early.
Some asshole stole your stuff, and you got unfairly stuck in the middle of a crappy situation. That sucks, and I'd be furious too. I just recently got the Rene Tits 2, and if that happened to me, I would just run towards the nearest living thing and kill it.
It's been over a week at this point, so hopefully things have been resolved, or the best situation: Fedex guy marked it delivered and it didn't deliver 'till the next day, and TC was embarrassed—hell, it's happened to me after I complained. Nevertheless, you do have to hold some accountability in the matter; ToyDemon shouldn't be the one in a hole because of things you could have prevented. Hindsight is 20-20, but besides being able to stalk your Tracking every 5 minutes, you have the option of requesting Signature Upon Delivery, Scheduled Delivery, and Pickup At Location, and I'm almost certain you can change these while the package is on its way to you and within Fedex's possession. I ordered my Meiki Plush EVO to Pickup At Location at a Walgreens, they just need an ID that matched the name/address; if the address is for the store itself, then just the ID with name worked for me. I heard it can take an extra day sometimes when doing Pickup at Location, but you're more than capable of waiting one more day to safely receive it, instead of having to wait a month to resolve a situation like this and have it come back in stock again.
I used to know plenty of scummy people who would regularly contact places like Amazon and tell them their item didn't show up so they would easily get a free 2nd one sent out to them. Not saying you're doing the same, but ToyDemon is aware of such scum. People are much more willing to make a false stolen-package report to a company, than they are willing to make a false police report. Quite frankly, I commend them for this policy, instead of just saying "Sorry, you're SOL" or the opposite end of the pendulum as I previously mentioned. So that's fine if you're "not going to rest on this", just direct that energy correctly and follow the steps; hopefully your efforts aren't peaking at just lashing out at TD for doing nothing wrong. If I was you and not in a rage-induced coma, I'd make the police report, and be kind to ToyDemon while remembering that they're never required to give any refund; after that, I would never take the risk of just leaving a huge box on my front doorstep again and go with Pickup At Location, or any of the other options that prevents this. Then I would make one of those fake package that electrocutes people trying to pick it up once they take it off a sensor.
You'll get them titties soon, TC! Good luck to ya!

@BogeyB really well thought out comment you put in there. If everyone was as reasonable as you, there wouldn't even be a need to file a police report.
As we have mentioned, how people would claim something was missing in their package and our video evidence clearly show differently. This is one of the reasons we don't bother selling on Amazon either. The customer gets all the benefit of the doubt and the sellers get shafted.
FedEx Hold at location is one of the best options we also recommend if privacy or security is an issue, which only you would know as the person that lives there and has package delivered there. One note though about changing the pickup location as the package is on its way with FedEx. Currently our account isn't allowed for any change in address unless you contact us. We are working with our rep to get this fixed. Reason for this is because FedEx charges i think $18 for an incorrect address change, $18!!!! That at times is more expensive than if they had just return the pkg back to us plus us shipping it out for a 2nd time to the correct address.
Previously some customers would all of a sudden change their mind on where they want it or simply forgot to put in their apt# (this is why we have a mailman banner reminding people to put in their APT #) and then they would call in to FedEx customer service and change the delivery address without us knowing. When the bill comes, we'd seen a $18 charge in addition to the shipping cost. When we talked to FedEx customer service, they simply tell us well customer changed the delivery address, there's an address correction fee. Now, if the customer is like oh I am sorry, I can pay for the change, but honestly how many people would be willing to pay $18 after they got their package already? So in the end we told FedEx, do not allow any address corrections or changes from anyone other than us calling it in. We are working with them to see if this can get changed so that simple changes to hold at location (nearest to where the package was suppose to deliver to) can be done on Fedex.com and not charge or bill to us. We'll let you guys know if it changes.
Anyway, thanks for commenting and your support!

@milenavfan ToyDemon actually DOES have a system in place for stolen or missing packages. In the Ordering Guidelines section I found it. (Knew I saw it somewhere before.)
"If tracking shows delivered but your package is lost or stolen, a copy of the police report on the stolen package is required before we can refund or reship your order."

@milenavfan Wait, are you saying it's the store's fault that your package got stolen when you know package are going missing in the neighborhood?? I'm trying to make sense of this?
milenavfan ( 14 )
@Papi It showed up earlier than expected, and at a point I wasn't anticipating I would be at work. I took a chance ordering them, expecting them to arrive at the projected date, when I knew I would be at home and able to pick them up. I got unlucky. The Rene Tits are always out of stock so I jumped on buying some, then they arrived way sooner than was estimated and I had to go to work early for a meeting. Literally had they not called me in early, I would have been at home right as the FedEx email said they were dropped off. Perfect storm, and just my luck too. I understand the ways I can lower the chances of this happening, but I calculated it, and life just happened to fuck me up.

You can request a scheduled delivery or a signature-required delivery from your shipping carrier. I personally think it is worth the trouble if you are expecting something. I don't think ToyDemon should be held accountable for this situation.

@milenavfan That's rough buddy. I get nervous every time any package is left at the door. I do have others that I can count on constantly leaving or entering the house and we work to bring in any of our packages left outside. I'm super lucky that they aren't nosy. For your situation, I'm assuming you live alone, checking the "Fedex Hold for Pickup option" box at checkout may save you this headache in the future. It's an extra step but, hey, if your neighborhood is as bad as you say with package thieves then i would gladly take any extra security. Sorry that I can't help with your current predicament though.

@milenavfan I hope for you a good resolution. It sucks to getting a package stolen. I agree with PrestigiousFarmer, if possible, next time use FedEx hold for Pickup at a FedEx location. It's really the safest route for important deliveries. I use it whenever possible.
