I know this question gets asked frequently but how is it that only Tomax related products are out of stock so frequently?
Also what is your favourite Tomax toy and firmness? I have only tried Venus real soft and strangely, it only feels good with the Insomnia lube. Any other lubes will make it feel bland. Does this happen to anyone else?
Has anyone tried the rich soft version? If so, how do they feel? Can you actually feel anything compared to soft?

As you may know, Tomax items have a very high quality to them. In order to achieve this, a lot of focus and attention is placed on them during production and production is done in slower, smaller batches which is the only way your can achieve this level of consistent quality. Now with the pandemic, the Japanese workforce has been reduced making production slower, and demand for them are higher than ever. There are no plans for production capacity to increase since that will affect their quality.
This is why they are out of stock more often and why out of stock periods are longer. This is not due to "artificial scarcity". This isn't the first time we've heard of this theory but they can double/triple their production and we'll still sell through them and be sold out right now. Many don't know that they place quality over profit which is very rare and harder to understand in our part of the world.
We have known the brand and owner about as long as we have been around(13 or so years). The owner is extremely passionate about creating top quality products and we saw all the things he went through to make the material and item in the beginning to what it is today. One of the reason why we did not have their sleeve series at the beginning (and why it was given to a new site/company at that time) was the question of whether the existing speed can make enough to meet the demand on our website. We were lucky last year where we were able to get everything they had to keep things in stock for quite a long time but that completely depleted any stock Tomax had. We believe we were the only place that had Tomax items in stock last holiday season.
We hope this helps answer your first question and hopefully put some information out to put an end to those "doing it on purpose" theories.

@fi0x This is real rough in terms of estimates but we'll get some sleeve models next month. We should(fingers crossed) also get more intermittent shipments throughout the rest of the year.

@**ToyDemon** Any updates now? Asking mainly for others who may be wondering and find this post; I've yet to try any Tomax products (new customer here). From what I've been seeing last couple weeks, y'all are a fantastic company and have a lot of very satisfied customers. Keep up the good work! Can't wait to begin my journey of exploring onaholes <3

My dude, your late to the party. The shipment of Tomax toys arrived in early July and mostly sold out by mid/late July. A very small shipment also arrived in mid Augest and sold out quite fast. Toydemon announced this in there August 2021 members perk news.
Just as a fun fact, I've noticed that Tomax shipments, on average during the pandemic, have been arriving at about the 6 month mark, give or take a month or two. This is just a funny coincidence that i notice while adding numbers of past restocks. I guess it's worth mentioning for jokes and giggles but never take it as gospel. If lady luck is on our side, then maybe we'll get something around Christmas time but if not, then just give it time.

No problem but just so you know, that 6 month-sh estimate is just an average that I noticed from the past year and a half. Toydemon did not announced or state that any Tomax product will be in by Christmas. They just said it would be a while until a new shipment arrives. I don't want people to get their hopes up and pester Toydemon during the holidays because they read my rough estimate.
Toydemon just puts in the order, they have no control over Tomax's production and shipments.

Speculation serves no good to anyone here, unless you work for ToyDemon.
Things were more predictable before the shutdown.
You should ask TD directly, using the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of this web page.
It's a best seller around here, so who really knows but Tomax or ToyDemon.

@BartlettsPearzzz
By the way, your best bet during a Tomax Shipment Scramble, is to do exactly what Toydemon suggest doing. Put the items you want on your Wish List and then click the Notify Me button on those items. Toydemon's system will send you an email when those products are up for sale again. That's what I've been using and it's worked like a charm. Set it and forget it. Gets your mind off the worry and that makes the wait go by faster.

@PrestigiousFarmer I appreciate all the information from both of you very much. This is a big part of the reason I joined up on TD cuz of the helpful community :) Very refreshing to be guided by people who have experience instead of newcomers just being ignored or called idiots. That's certainly not helpful! And yes, I have absolutely been using the Notify Me button AND the wish list button (got 2 of those goin on lol), suuuch a nice feature. Like you said, "Set it and forget it." I like it. I'm gonna eventually leave reviews too cuz I do wanna contribute, but not till after 3 uses of each toy. Gotta bream em in! Thank you again kind sir

@winkyblink That's a very good point. And yeah, I'm sure schedules were more consistent before this whole friggin thing started, ugh. I've set my notifications, cuz I'd LOVE to get a Venus Real Soft, but I'm well aware of how especially popular those are! Also, I've read some of your reviews and they've definitely helped with narrowing down my choices; you sound like you've been around the block more than a few times, that's for sure lol Looking forward to bantering with the community, leaving reviews, and just learning about OH's in general, experiencing all the different flavors TD has to offer :D CHEERS

There are two answers to your first question.
1. Tomax is a highly popular brand. Not to the extent that Tengas and Fleshlights are, but almost anyone who is in this (degenerate :) ) hobby will probably hear of them at least in passing.
2. Tomax likes to keep their brands exclusive. Prior to ToyDemon, QueenCat was the only distributer of the brand in North America. Then QueenCat closed down. In Europe, the only MotsuToys (Netherlands) and OmochaDreams (Germany) sell them. In Japan, only Daimaoh sells them (who also owns Tomax).
This is only speculation on my end, but Tomax may possibly practice "artificial scarcity" because despite their popularity (especially compared to others) they've always had "stocking issues", and it takes them months on average to restock. So then when they do come back in stock, they basically sell out instantly, which means more orders from the storefronts. Although I cannot hard confirm this.
For your second question.
1. My favorite is the Dolphin in regular. It's got a unique tunnel and sensation, but it really only works in Regular and Hard as Soft and below means the gimmick is kinda muted.
2. I believe Insomnia is specifically made to work with Tomax products in mind since Insomnia (as well as Silky and O2) are also created by Tomax.
As for your third question.
I had a rich soft product. Rich Soft is very clingy and jello-like, so all the sensation comes from it holding on to you and not from the tunnel structure. It's an acquired taste and I'd only recommend it if you're sensitive or really like soft products.
