Hi there

I lived in Canada and I want to order a tomax's Venus Real Soft
After review some posts I am kind of worry about the shippment now.
So the only ship option now is DHL EXPress ( I saw the suggestion from another post that said Fedex is better but there is not option for it now)
My question is will the package got return/struck or I need to pay extra tax? and what should i do to aviod it?

@allenhe There is no way to avoid duties. DHL will email/text you when your order is in town and you must pay the duties before they deliver your order. I live in Canada as well and the shipping ToyDemon offers through DHL is extremely quick and I'm always impressed at how quick they are.

@allenhe The only way that the shipment is stuck is because the custom decides to inspect it. It will add at least an extra week. There will be GST+PST and duty unless the sender declares it to be under $20 Cdn. How much will the duty be is hard to guess. It depends on where it is made and what is declared as. The other major fee is the custom clearance brokeage charged by the carrier to handle the custom clearance. This charge can be sometime can be outrageous as it is fixed even if the tax is a cent. DHL is an excellent carrier. I think the brokeage fee is less than UPS and Fedex.

Not true. DHL charges the most at ~$19 and there is no way around it. With UPS as long as you have a free account and pay online they will waive the brokerage fees.

With Fedex as long as you have a free account and put your reference number in the address field and pay online they will waive the brokerage fees. Also you can call in and ask to pay over the phone and they will waive the brokerage fees.

DHL is by far the worst choice for Canada and I really wish TD would bring in an alternate option.
