This is mostly just me ranting, but with a few words of caution for anyone casually browsing this site.

My History:
Years ago I got a few fleshlights. I never liked them much, once the novelty wore off I quit using them. The biggest draw back was that the textures and material paired with hard plastic cases really lacked for me. I disliked the through/open design (I didn't even know closed ones were a thing back then). Worst of all I'm not exactly packing a fat hog so the ~9in designs with the cool parts towards the middle and end really felt like a tease. I give a toy 5 inches to do its cool tricks, or I move on. I tossed them and gave up on sex toys entirely as I assumed Fleshlights were the 'brand name' and everything else would be even more disappointing.

Scam:
After not having had a toy for several years, I began looking into sex toys on a whim. I decided, rather foolishly via ignorance, that a sex doll is the universal pinnacle of sex toys (I now know there is no such thing as everyone is very different). Thus I ordered a cheap doll from a knock off site, not knowing that fakes and knock offs were a prevalent thing (research specific vendors!!!). I won that charge back, I was way too angry to let my pride stop me from explaining the details over the phone with a bank rep in the fraud department (they did snicker, if you can't laugh then what can you do?).

Dolls and regret:
As that was being sorted I found some actually reputable vendors and got a 140cm/60lb anime themed doll from Irokebijin. WOW did it SUCK and not in a good way. The material was great, the TPE is like silk! However, not factoring in weight/difficulty (which I was properly prepared for), I disliked using it too. The issue was that once I got passed the cheeks/thighs and texture-less entry part I didn't have much pecker left for the textured portion of either canal. I tried everything I could think of before giving up using it as is.

Because I loved the TPE, I was motivated to enjoy it at its fullest. I cut out the crotch and trimmed away lots of excess material, leaving a 5-6lb hip toy abomination that rocked! I loved it so much I got a 80cm doll from them that made me obsessed with sex toys. However, it wasn't perfect. What I really wanted was the silky TPE, not so much the maintenance/use of the doll itself. Despite that, I was mostly happy with the trade off for the fun.

Strokers and more regret:
By this point I had accepted huge $600+ prices for good small scale dolls as my future, but wanted to explore in case I had missed something. I came across silicone strokers from Elsa Babe. They are cheaper than a doll, but still closed ended. I loved their variety, feel, and size. I loved nearly everything about them, in fact they really pointed out the issue with all of the dolls.

Sex dolls rarely advertise their internal patterns for a good reason, they are often bland as possible to be a safe bet (I guess?). Via an endoscope I discovered that both my dolls used a very tame spiral pattern, basically exactly like the first third of the "Shooting G" onahole here. It felt nice, but I could get 40+ copies of that onahole rather than ONE large doll for the cost.

Finding my niche:
The Elsa Babe silicone strokers were my new favorites, a variety of patterns to try and the the busy ones had me excited just thinking about them, far more excited than an entire doll alone ever managed. Using them was a dream too. However, there was some draw backs. First was that I missed the silky softness of TPE. Second was that they had a price close to $200 each for many of them. While certainly better than a doll value wise, I'd need to be careful about selecting good ones.

Next I tried Bad Dragon strokers. Their "Flops" and "Frankenpour" colors were about $100 each after shipping costs were added. I love their busier textures! It really spit in the face of my dolls for a fraction of their cost. However, I dislike the open ended/through designs. Lube spills out and there is no suction! I gave one a death grip to close the end and with suction I was in another world! However, I can't maintain such a grip long comfortably.

I really missed the smoothness of TPE and the suction (+ less mess) of a closed tunnel, but didn't want to be stuck with expensive toys and/or more boring dolls. If I was forced to stick with Elsa Babe strokers, I'd be happy enough. However, the research for better continued.

ToyDemon's Role:
You've likely concluded that onahole's were what I've been looking for. After all, I keep wanting something else and stripped my biggest doll down to one essentially. However, I named dropped Fleshlight, Elsa Babe, and Bad Dragon. It is because they were the only brands I knew by name. "Toy'sHeart" would've meant nothing to me. I also never encountered someone on any forum going on about "Check out Maccos Japan's newst toy!".

Yet people talk about Fleshlight and Bad Dragon toys like they are the only ones around, which made me think that was mostly the case. I only know of Elsa Babe because they make dolls and my research into those led to the discovery. I didn't even know any of these onaholes or brands existed! Ignorance was torture!

On another whim I searched "anime onahole" just to see what was to be found, expecting a couple of gimmick results that lead nowhere useful. Via reddit I finally found an entire world with brands, firmness/softness levels, gimmicks, and TPE blends all at a fraction of what I was spending per toy before.

I love anime (I'm keeping the boxes forever), I love TPE, I love closed tunnels, I love busier textures, and I love things that cost less than $50 each. So I ordered 12 toys a couple days ago (for the cost of HALF a small doll with the sale). They shipped yesterday.

If a $30 toy is meh, so be it! For that price the fun of shopping around and anticipation alone means I'll only be disappointed for a moment and not filled with regret every time I see it.

I hope this all works out, if it does I can finally say "I am home." No more major regrets or wanting something else. I've tried literally everything I can think of that isn't electric powered (not interested).

I just wish this side of the industry was talked about more, the term "Fleshlight" is so ubiquitous some use it as a catch all for any penetrable toy. It makes discovering these Japanese brands dependent on someone getting lucky with search results, even casually browsing r/sextoys and the like never led me here.

Thanks for reading! (If you bothered to, lol).
