I want to start by saying how much I love this site. I really do, 'cause it's awesome. The shipping's great, I like the community, the reviews, all of that. But I do wonder why some items have a definitive ETA while some basically only ever say "notify me" with no expected availability date. The TOMAX Silky Lube is a good example of this ATM. Not a complaint, really, just curious.

@FluffyShortsGuy It really depends on how often you visit the site.
First thing, any item that goes out of stock will automatically have the "Notify Me" button for one to sign up to get notified once the item is back in stock. So if 10 onaholes go out of stock today, you will see those 10 with a "Notify Me" button.
Then once we are back in office after the weekends, we will look at what needs to be ordered and submit our PO to the vendor. This process could take up to a week or longer, if some of the items are also out of stock with them.
Lastly, once the vendor confirms our shipment is ready and will be shipping out to us, we will then confirm it on our site and that's when you see the "In Stock by: Date" message. And this is our best estimate on the date it will come in, we always give it an extra week cushion or so. So if item is shipped by air to us, we usually get it before the date, but if it's shipped by ocean, it could be delayed from time to time.
So going back to what I said about how often you visit the site. If you visit enough, you will see the items you're interested in going through the above process and will eventually have a ETA date on it. Otherwise, especially on the weekends, you will see "Notify Me" on products because they could have just sold out.
Stuff like TOMAX take a lot longer because everything is made by them directly and they have been really busy. We are still waiting for our early December PO to get confirmed by them and that's why you don't see the ETA date on them yet.
