Simple question. Some toys are more prone to getting lint than others and i know powdering the toy before can help to prevent it.
What i want to know is how to get rid of all the lint if it already has it. Even after cleaning some of the more "sticky" toys always have a spot left with some lint, it feels like im just moving it around when i try to clean it off.
So how do you deal with lint?
Would a lint roller work? (havent tried it dont have one on hand).
Do you have a method to restore a sticky toy to a more pristine condition?

if the lint/dust is too bad, just wash it with water (sometimes the oil from the hole mixes with lint/dust, use soap if it's really bad) and just powder after.
I'm not sure what you mean by restoring a toy, but if you're referring to the stickiness, powder. Onaholes typically come from the manuf. powdered to give make it feel softer and not tacky/sticky.

@Metanoia sometimes just soap and water won't help either, especially on a softer toy where it's like bonded into a micro tear. The best way is to use an oil, like baby oil to over power the sticky nature of the toy, then clean it with soap and water. This way it allows the lint and other particulates to slip out of those micro tears. At least that's been my experience.
Course this is toy dependent as well.
