got a new toy today — an unbearable lip doll — and right out of the box the inside of the mouth, especially the tongue, is very sticky, almost what i would describe as “gummy.” so i gave it a good pre-use wash with cold water only, worked the excess water out, then very carefully inserted a drying stick.

when i (again, gently) pulled the drying stick out, bits of pink material were flaked all over the drying stick. my question is: is it normal for the toy to be coming apart like this without having used it once? is it supposed to be this sticky inside?
