After using it for months, it does a great job of wicking away water! I noticed it wasn't great after a couple of months and noticed it had a sheen. I realized I had left it in a hole for quite a while and decided to "sweat" it out on my 3D printer's heated bed at 80°C. After half an hour I came back and found that it was sweated out a fair amount of oil, I'm imagining it seeped up from the inside on the on hole material. Now it's back to being matte and absorbs water like new! Might regularly do this to help it stay effective.

This is 1-to-1 just the 17 Seventeen classic everyone raves about. The outside it extra soft and smooth, the entrance is tight and small, and the first two-thirds of the ride is pretty good. Two or three drops of the included lube along the entrance, same on yourself to start, get everything well coated with your first few strokes. Then a few drops or sprays of water to thin it out, squeeze out the air, then go to town.
