I picked this up on flash sale as it seemed to be cheap enough to give it a try. It arrived today and after powdering and rinsing the new arrivals, I gave them all a try. The outer shell on this is more like a hard plastic case, and it was so hard that I was not able to force my finger into the drain hole. I understand that the "armor" is the gimic for selling this toy.

The inner layer seems to be a thin coating on top of the outer hard shell. Sticking my finger inside, I can feel some detail to the texture inside the toy. Overall I would say that it is a harder texture as there is not a lot of give to the internal texturing, but not a rough/ intense feeling texture. But because of my 5.5" to 6.0" girth, I am not feeling any of that internal texture. The sleeve is just too small to accommodate me and have enough looseness that I am feeling the texture . I'm used to my girth splitting and tearing up toys, but in this case the toy wins. :-) All that I am feeling is the tightness and hardness of the outer shell and the rest is being shmooshed by my girth.

I noticed the coloration that they added to the lips. most of that wore off during my first use of it as its not as bright of a color after I cleaned it.

I do not have enough length that bottoming out is a problem for me as noted in the other review, but girth is definitely a problem. I'm not rating it at one star as my larger girth is not the toys fault.

The drain hole is too small IMO if your trying to clean out a large load, and it ruins any suction. so I'm putting the drain hole as a negative.

This might be a good toy for someone that is under 5" in both length and girth.
