First thing I have to say is that you really do need a stick if you buy a soft onahole as it won't dry properly unless the hole is held open. I initially wasn't going to buy one but I'm so glad I did. Now, I picked this stick over other sticks like the NPG or G Project due to reviews saying those would break if dropped. So far I've dropped this one a few times and it hasn't broken. Apparently those are made of some kind of stone, while this appears to be foam of some sort. Additionally I've read that the stone ones can cause cosmetic staining. I can't personally verify any of these claims since I don't own them, but what I can say is that I'm happy with my this stick.

One important thing is to dry the stick lying flat and not upright. Maybe this should've been obvious, but it wasn't to me. The first time I used it I dried it standing up and it had curved a day later. Luckily wetting it allowed me to straighten it back out and I haven't had any issues since. It takes about 12 hours for the stick to fully dry, although I'd say it's mostly dry after around 6 hours. Obviously YMMV based on room temp & humidity.

After almost 3 months of use, it still does the job and I haven't had any issues. One thing I can say is I noticed that after washing if I don't flip the onahole upside down first to drain excess water, this doesn't quite absorb everything. It's a very minor thing as it takes 5 seconds but I can see now how a stone stick might absorb more water.
