No Privacy For Air Travelers
Whenever you fly somewhere for vacation or business, you have to bring the essentials. A change of clothing or toiletry or anything else you need but may not be able to get right away in unfamiliar territory. Sometimes, this also includes your favorite sex toy of masturbators, vibrators, or dildos. As air travelers you understand the need for thoroughly checking the luggage but you also expect that everything remains the way it was when you closed it. About a year ago, one writer found a note in her checked luggage that had a sex toy in it. The note read "Get your freak on girl", something she found funny but obviously a breach of her privacy. (Details here) But at least for the last example the luggage checking agent was discreet about it. A gay couple earlier last year was waiting to pick up their luggage when they found that someone took a dildo from the luggage, covered it with something foul smelling and taped it to the outside of their bag for everyone to see. (Details here) It was an extremely embarrassing event for anyone (gay or straight) and completely destroys the trust and discretion we assumed we have with luggage checks. Earlier today a judge ruled against the couple on their lawsuit against the airline. The judge based his decision stating the International Carriage Convention limits the couple's claim against the airline even though the event took place between a U.S. to U.S. leg of their international travel. (Details here) With more and more horror stories like these, would you want to bring your favorite masturbators, vibrators, or dildos with you on your checked luggage? If you have done it in the past, will you do it again or carry on all the way?
