"Breast squeezing helps prevent cancer" sounds like some urban legend from adolescent youth just like "Massaging breast makes them bigger". Scientist at University of California in Berkeley have found the former to actually be true. Presented at the annual meeting of the American Society for Cell Biology in San Francisco. It was found that malignant breast cells grew more normal and organised over time when compression was applied to them during the first stage of cell growth. On the flip side, non compressed cells show uncontrolled growth that leads to cancer. What does it all mean?
