First, let us assure you that all packages are packed and treated the same regardless of whether shipping is paid or not. We don't single out orders based on customer or shipping paid. There's nothing to gain for us trying to purposely mess up an order. It creates inefficiency in the packing process!
If a customer is acting like an asshole, we would simply cancel the order and refund the money. We won't keep the money and stop answering emails!
Now there are a couple of differences between a Free Shipping order against a paid shipping order, and let us address them here:

If a 1-Day and a Free Shipping order came in at the same time. Then no question the 1-Day shipping gets processed and packed first because we need to get it out to make the 1-Day delivery. I do get my packages in a good time frame—almost always within 5 days and sometimes in 4.

@wanderingmidget I know how you feel! Sometimes it feels like delivery drivers don't want to climb stairs to deliver my packages... In one of my more recent deliveries from FedEx I was waiting for the drive to arrive and they never came but they did mark my package as "undeliverable" because "no one was home". Uh, lies! They never even approached my door! I hopped in my car and literally found the FedEx truck. When they were coming back to the truck (I stayed in my car and did not approach, didn't want to be intimidating or a douche about it), I politely asked if they had packages for <my address>. Of course they did and they made up some BS excuse about why they couldn't deliver it, but to their credit they did give me my packages after I offered up my ID to verify they were for me. FedEx is weird sometimes but that's no fault of ToyDemon!

Just wanted to add my two cents. I have gotten both free shipping and paid shipping multiple times. And from experiencing both there exactly the same. In my opinion the free shipping is the reason I keep coming back to toy demon in fact I was going to try another seller cause they had some toy's that toy demon didn't sell but what stopped me was the fact that my $60 purchase came out too $120 because there cheapest shipping was $60 and no free shipping. So whoever out there is crying please stop. There free shipping is a blessing cause it keeps more money in your pocket to get more or better toy's. Thank you toy demon keep up the amazing work. Because of free shipping you got a loyal life long customer out of me.

We decided to make this post as it was brought to our attention that someone shared their free shipping order from us arrived with a couple of Meiki ZXY with out any box at all and just a couple of transparent plastic bags with a couple of FedEx labels on it. This obviously scared quite a few other users that had just ordered from us and was thinking about ordering from us.
That's why we wanted to make sure that our customers know that we don't skimp on our service just because a order is cheaper or shipping wasn't paid. As we mentioned above, by singling out packages just because shipping was not paid, it creates more procedures and inefficiency for the shipping department. We WILL NEVER ship our orders out without even an outer box.
However, rather than just treating as a plain lie or a smearing campaign from a competitor, we do know that when dealing with the carriers (USPS and FedEx), there is a possibility that they had damaged the outer box and didn't even bother to put it in another box and just delivered it as is. We have had packages delivered that was clearly stepped on with a huge shoe print and the box was basically flattened. Shit happens, we understand.
That's why we ask that if this happened to you, PLEASE let us know. Not only will we make it right, we can file a complaint to our carrier account reps and also review if there's anything we can do better within our packing procedures so that it won't happen again.

I can't remember what it says, but its some generic company name and a return address for presumably their warehouse/fulfillment center in IL. Unless the packaging is damaged in transit someone would need to open it to know what is inside.

I am curious though since pre orders are always free shipping if people use that to buy one or two products all the time with free shipping does that end up costing you guys money and have you at all considered doing away with the free shipping on preorder

2. Encourage and reward ppl to try new onaholes. Since there's pre-order discount, extra reward points, and free shipping.
3. Prevent abundance of dead stock. By being able to sell some stock early, if a product receives couple of bad reviews, at least some are already sold and we aren't left with a ton of dead stock.
If one likes to try new things, pre-order is usually the best deal (for a just released product) and it helps us out too!

A bit biased because of my location, but the free shipping is great for me. Both orders I have done with this site have come in 2 days via the "5-10 day" free shipping. The products seemed to be packed fine, although I can't really see how it would be a TD issue unless they used way oversized outerboxes or something. The toy manufacturer should package their goods well, so that as long as they are placed in a reasonably sized box, there won't be much chance of an issue.

I want to add that I recently did another order and it came in the mail literally less than 24 hours later, with the free shipping option. Again a bit biased because my location means fedex can deliver it quick, but they had it boxed and ready for fedex less than an hour after I placed the order so it's not just fedex doing a good job here.

Just ordered another 91 items. They came in 4 discrete brown boxes and were very well packed with paper, bubble wrap, and air pouches. The time between ordering and arrival was 2 days. TWO DAYS! Nobody else can match that.
One of the most important thing to me is that the boxes for each individual toy come in excellent condition for display, and ToyDemon seems to have perfected the art of making sure things aren't damaged or deformed when they arrive at my door.

My only gripe with the free shipping is that it is with FedEx. I had several delays and wound up having to wait around, though I am guessing it is a function of the whole COVID19 pandemic. From what I read, FedEx is absolutely slammed right now. I don't like the FedEx tracking as well as USPS or UPS either. But all in all I am happy with the free shipping and it keeps me coming back as a customer.

We don't use UPS because spreading packages between that many carriers will not lower our shipping cost.

I ordered sunday with free shipping and it came wedness day. That’s 3 days from illinois to new york. That’s 3 days having paid for my whole order in points so they literally had nothing to gain. My order didn’t even have a company name on it that could be googled which you can google the super secret company names some shops use to come back as toy shops. I can assure you it’s very discrete. You order something from outside the country and they’re putting silicone sculpture on the box everytime. Which to me screams dildo which though I have lver a dozen toys I don’t own one of those nore do I want people thinking I do. The free shipping and shipping in general is comparable to if not better than amazon. Read my post history I loce to complain about toydemon but this is something they do right. I say that having ordered from them for over a decade.

We used to offer Free Shipping to Hawaii and Alaska previously, but people were complaining about how long it was taking and shipping cost just kept going higher and higher so we had to remove that. We still offer a coupon that will knock $5 off every $75 to compensate for customers that are not eligible for free shipping. We know it's not quite the same, but we hope you can understand.

Had free shipping several times and all of them were discreet and fairly fast but not in a rush to get my items so as long it doesn't take a month am good, and in that note the shipping time is very good, and I have only good experience on this site. For reference I live several states away from the origin of shipping so far so good. I think the user that had a bad experience with shipping were mostly because of the people of fedex are the ones that can be pretty unsavory at times but maybe putting instructions might help them or simply they don't care which can suck... and USPS welp yeah am sure everyone has had their problems with USPS.

That all makes sense to me, and in general its a threshold that is not hard to hit if you're ordering a few toys. However, its kind of a pain if you just want to order a bottle of lotion or other accessories. With the old threshold I usually used the shipping amount as an excuse to buy a cheaper onahole that was on my list to try along with the lotion i was ordering (or maybe even added in a few extra lotions to my order of onatsuyu to try out).
$75 is quite a bit more wish-list culling to hit that threshold. I guess everyone is spoiled by amazon and the economies of scale they work with, but if this is the threshold for the foreseeable future do you think there is something you can implement for lotion/accessory orders to make shipping more palatable? I understand its tricky because if you just say, "small items" that means a lot of smaller onaholes are in the mix and that probably gets tricky. As you mentioned, we are not Amazon and shipping cost has gotten crazy for us. Just to give you an example, a 1 LB package costs around $6-8 to ship (depending on where you are) back at the beginning of the year, now costs around $9-12.

@**ToyDemon** This is the first time I have ever had issues with Toydemon but I'm having a horrible experience trying to receive your product right now. I followed it's tracking though and I know it's not really the fault of toydemon because you guys shipped the items to my country ASAP, the issues started once the package was in the hands of Fedex. Fedex is completely screwing up badly right now and they have been for weeks. The way they handled a winter storm a few weeks back was pathetic, and now they are completely backed up with backlogs weeks behind and because of greed still continued to accept more orders. That's one thing I will blame toy demon for. Why the heck would you guys select Fedex to ship my product when they have been announcing and people have known that they have been having major problems with shipping items for weeks now.
So instead of selecting free, 5 day shipping with my order, I chose to pay the extra for 2 day shipping. My product hasn't arrived yet and is way beyond the 2 day shipping date and they don't even have an idea of when it will ship, no delivery date, nothing. It's basically stuck in Memphis along with probably hundreds of thousands of other peoples items, waiting to be shipped. I probably won't see the items I bought for weeks at this rate.
Now of course I signed the aggreement that Toydemon bears no responsibility for late shipments due to Covid(even though this issue clearly has nothing to do with Covid), but that's not why I'm writing this. Im writing this to plead with Toydemon to not use Fedex, they are an awful shipping company that keeps getting worse and worse every year. Or at the very least, give the customer the option. I rather pay for UPS even if they are more expensive, just because they are far more reliable, I have always had nothing but problems with Fedex, they have been so terrible for years now.
This isn't just an issue with just Toydemon, it's pretty much any website that sells goods, the customer is allowed to select what type of shipping they want, but we are never allowed to select what company will be shipping the item. I would have never chose Fedex and now I have to be punished waiting probably weeks for an item that I paid 2 days shipping for. No one will refund me or help me out because I clicked agreements before I ordered and there's not a damn thing I can do about it, it's so disappointing.
Sorry if my post was off-topic, I'm just really frustrated right now. To answer the topic question I always choose to pay extra money for quicker shipping, rather then use the offer for free shipping because free shipping is always around 5 to 7 business days and I'm far too impatient for that. Perhaps change it so that the coupons/deal on expensive orders gives either free shipping or a reduction of the cost on more expensive shipping methods?

@Menthols we are sorry you're experiencing the delay by FedEx right now. You're frustrated, we are frustrated. Depending on where you're from the winter storm in the past week was literally covering 75% of the country, not just where we are located in IL.
We have been constantly tracking and talking to FedEx, but as you can imagine, there's nothing we can do. We can only wait till they sort it out, and if it's missing or gone, we can then claim with them and then reship and get reimbursed.
As for why we use FedEx and not others, if you're familiar with economy of scale, you'd understand why. Us being purely FedEx, FedEx is able to give us the rates that allow us to offer Free Shipping at $50. If we split our shipment between UPS, FedEx, USPS, then our rate with all 3 shipping companies will be worse. Shipping cost is just going to keep going up going forward, unless technology of getting physical goods across the country to a person's door can somehow be revolutionized.
If we offer all 3 like we mentioned above, our flat rate might end up going up to $12.99 or more while free shipping might need to go up to $75 or even $100. You might be ok with that as you mentioned, but I am not so sure others will.
Again, we're very sorry for what happened to your order along with many others that have the same issue. Please just be patient with us as I doubt this will be a reoccurring issue (I really don't want to see any more snow in March / Spring, but who really knows with the crazy things lately), but rest assured that if your package does end up lost or missing, we will make it right.

Free shipping has been good to me, my orders come packaged decently and discretely. Orders are sent out same day or next day and usually take about a week to get to me. Which is not bad since it's free and I live far from TD's shipping address. For my last order I thought there would delays because of the pandemic, but Surprise I got two day shipping.

Would like to add that this says updated 3 months ago but is misleading and blatantly false. There is NOT free shipping for first time customers, and free shipping is at $75 NOT THE $35

@**ToyDemon** I would like an option to use USPS instead of UPS because USPS has access to my building's mail room an UPS does not. You can imagine my horror when my box of loli onaholes ended up at my elderly neighbor's door. Luckily i was home at the time and managed to get to it before they did but this is unacceptable and has affected my purchases since then.
