I have bought a Venus Real Richsoft lately with a drying stick. My original plan was to use the drying stick to dry it every time after cleaning/washing.
However, I found that it is pretty hard to insert the drying stick into the onahole. The material is pretty sticky to the drying stick? If I spread it open and directly put it in, the drying stick does stay inside, but it's pretty hard to take out since the stick "sticks" to the onahole. I can imagine damage will incur in the long run...
What do you guys think of this? Is the drying stick really the correct thing to use for this onahole?

@Capybara Yeah, the onahole material will stick really tightly to the drying stick because the stick pretty much sucks up any semblance of moisture in it's proximity. Instead of inserting or removing the stick straight into or out of the sleeve, try shimmying it in or out. This will make it far less likely for the stick to tear away at the inner walls. Once you get a knack for this, the drying process is much quicker than the microfiber cloth method.
Also, you don't have leave the stick in the sleeve for too long! 30 seconds to a minute will do. If you really want to dry every nook and cranny in the onahole, you can continue to shimmy the stick in place for a moment once you've completely inserted it into the full length of the sleeve.

One minute is crazy fast. Are you sure it's drying completely?
I know for my hip the stick has to be in for 15 minutes and even then I need to remove and readjust for another time period for it to dry completely. Air drying is nearly impossible for it.

@Namenick Honestly, I can only be as sure as my crude checking method: repeatedly wriggling around my finger to feel for wet spots and then checking to see if my finger comes out wet. It certainly isn't the best method haha!
But, yes, 30 seconds to a minute of shimmying in, leaving it place, and shimmying it out. On some occasions, the inside may have some water residue left, so I would shimmy the stick back in for another round. This is how I've been doing it for over a year now, and none of my sleeves, hips, or torsos have cultured any visible microbiota. I also remember reading somewhere on Toy Demon and on the back of one of the Drying Stick boxes that it's good practice to check your stick every 30 seconds since the stick has a pretty strong pull on liquids—even on whatever oils are in the sleeve material.

@Capybara The dry stick works best to get rid of the residual moisture that is left inside the onahole tunnel after cleaning, the majority of the water can be removed by shaking, wiping or let air dry upside down but that tiny bit of wetness left is where the dry stick comes in handy and will speed up your clean up process to get it into storage. It was never meant for the dry stick to just suck up all the water that is there after you rinse it because there is a max amount of water the body of the dry stick will absorb before it's saturated and need to be dried off itself. Using the dry stick for around 30 seconds to 1 minute should be more than enough time for it to do it's job.
Although the dry stick will work with all onaholes, one's that are in the extreme softness category would have harder to insert due to the nature of the material. In the case where you are afraid that pulling and tugging the dry stick might damage the soft onaholes, we would recommend you go with the air dry method with the entrance of the onahole facking downward.
