I wanted to know what the best option was from Meiki no Syoumei series. I see lots of interesting options, and i would consider some but im not sure half the time if it is firm or soft because I always thought the inner layer being a dark pink meant it was always firm. apparently not the case, and now I am totally lost as to what to get from this meiki series.
13 looks good but is too short and 001 looks really good but people seem to be saying that its too firm and too stimulating. thats kind of how far I have gotten, yeah very little. I did order the zxy to get a baseline, but I am interested in these other ones as well.

@vtygrh It really depends on what you like and prefer. Hard? Soft? Is durability a concern?
And on what you're packing too. I'm going to assume "average" - <=2"d and ~=6"l.
TL;DR Try 12. It's durable. It's middle of the road on firmness and isn't a "straight tunnel" on the inside. It's very durable. It's not comically large like everything newer out of NPG.
If you want something tighter and firmer, try Re 001.
If you want something softer...honestly get a Tomax Venus Clone in Soft/Very Soft or a Venus Real in Soft. They simply do soft better, and you won't have durability issues with any of them.
I picked up the Clone in Richsoft and the Real in Very Soft recently, and if I bought them again, I'd go one level up on both. Real has less texture than Clone, hence the +/-1 between the two.

The ones (still) sold here can be somewhat loosely grouped based on the "generation" and the materials they use. I don't work for NPG so I can't tell you one way or another if they're EXACTLY the same materials, but they're very similar to one another.

"The Middle Child" - there are more, like AIKA, Asahi Mizuno, Mao Man, etc. but they've all been discontinued on TD, some for good.
12/13/ZERO/Shin002/Shin003 - "EPS" era - orange-ish pink baboon butt TPE outer layer. They all look kind of different in the pictures, some almost look bronze. They're all the same color. Pink. Shin 002 and Shin 003 are firmer and tighter than the others, either the inner layer is slightly different or it's just a canal design thing. Relatively indestructible. Lips might tear. 12 is one of my favorites.
Re 001 - Kind of an outlier but that might be due to the design working better with the materials chosen, firm and tight, without the lumpiness that made me dislike Shin002. It's probably made out of similar stuff as the previous group, and I'd say it definitely was if it was baboon pink like they are instead of being snow white.

The Kamiki Rei one would be my favorite if the layers hadn't started separating after 2 uses. Soft AND tight? It was amazing! That kind of durability is unacceptable at this price range. I skipped over Eiyo because the design looked cumbersome, and 2 because "did you really make this better by giving it a second canal, or have both canals suffered as a result?"
Creation 2 - Cheese grating lube guzzler.
It looks absolutely AMAZING and is almost a work of art in its own right. But I don't buy these to look at them.
Shin002/Shin003/Eiyo2/15 - "Let's trim the labia away from the opening!"
Not really a grouping of similar materials, but it is a grouping of an IMO bone-headed design choice. I know they were trying to go for more realistic hole placement, but they've done that in the past without removing the lower half of the labia entirely.

My personal favorite might be 06 Yan Ryu Yi, awful durability aside. The canal design is similar to 05 ZXY, but the outer design is better, and it seems significantly more durable - or at least mine is. They seem to be made out of similar or identical materials, so it's possible I just got luckier with one over the other. It doesn't have the ZXY's problem of being way too thin towards the back, but it also loses out on the experience a bit because ZXY having a beer belly of TPE at the front is part of what makes it feel so good/unique. I would hard pass on this ENTIRE group if durability is a concern because it's non-existent. My ZXY was undergoing nuclear decay straight out of the box and always feels one enthusiastic plap away from being torn to bits.
012, 013 and ZERO are all kind of similar. 12 - all around. ZERO - edging. 13 - I want to make her forget her name.
12 is firmer, or maybe it feels firmer because it's lighter. ZERO is the biggest and longest of the bunch, you'll be yo-yo-ing it, and you won't enjoy it without suction. 13 is quite nice and maybe somewhere in between the two as an overall experience, the triple layer gives it more "plap" than ZERO.
Don't let the "4.8 inches" on the tunnel length for 13 dissuade you, it's very stretchy, and the canal itself is roomy. Some people might say it's bland. It tightens up at the end with a deeper than usual G-Spot and that's it, but I liked it. It's definitely the least stimulating of the 3. You'll go soft in ZERO or 13 without suction since there's very little going on inside.
Shin 002 has outer material very similar to those 3 but seems significantly firmer on the inside. I didn't like it because I found it kind of bland and didn't like the texture. Was mainly disappointed that they trimmed the labia away on the opening. These are supposed to be "Masterpiece Certificates" that are "100% accurate molds of the actress..." your own hip with her face on the box has the lips intact!
If you like Tsukasa Aoi, don't get Shin 003, and get the "Young Wife 2nd Gen" Tsukasa Aoi that's always out of stock. Just know that it's soft and isn't heavily textured on the inside, it's really low stimulation and for edging. And suffers on durability. A lot.
"Kanjuku Meiki Beautiful Wife JULIA" is technically the 4th Gen of this, but I haven't tried it and can't comment. Supposedly it's even softer.
There's a 3rd Gen...and a different 3rd Gen...and a triple layer version of the Maria Nagai one...and a different version of Gen 1...and the discontinued Saki Otsuka original...and a 5th Gen...and and and. None of them are sold here (one of them was briefly, Rara Anzai "3rd Gen", Saki Otsuka was too, discontinued, twice) and none of them are easily acquired unless you have a problem (I have a problem). It's not worth worrying about since the better one of the bunch isn't any more durable than Gen2.
Re 001 was my goldilocks for a while. It's a nice change of pace from all the soft and floppy ones, and if you'd blindfolded me and told me it was made by someone that wasn't NPG I'd believe you. I actually liked the anal canal here, if only because it's TIGHT and firm at the entrance and gets looser inside. If you want something firm, durable, and stimulating, these 3 (Shin002, Shin003, Re001) are really your only options from them. Everything after that point just gets softer and softer. Sometimes with a very soft outside and a significantly harder inside, a combination I dislike with a few exceptions.
People seem to REALLY like Shin 004, I've yet to try it. I skipped 14 and 15 because I don't really care for the actresses on the box one way or another. I did pick up 16 elsewhere while it was out of stock here because I like Ichika Matsumoto. It's a chonkster. It's soft, BUT the outside is way more durable than anything this soft that NPG has made before, and has a very interesting "skin" texture all the way around. It's loose though, would've been better slightly tighter inside. The outer material is honestly fantastic. It's harder on the inside.
I am disappointed that NPG's including a butthole on all of their recent onaholes, because they're usually fairly bland and don't really seem to add anything of value other than detracting from the experience of BOTH holes. Maybe buttholes in general are bland, I wouldn't know. 16 has enough heft that it doesn't make the rear wall of the vaginal canal feel too thin, but the anal canal is still mediocre at best. The whole thing is very soft and floppy, so trying to get into the tight anal canal is a 2 hand effort. Then you get inside and expect the outside to have some firmness to it from pounding away at a tailbone but it doesn't at all. It just doesn't work.

That's always the hardest part of trying to read reviews. A guy with experience using 30 onas reviewing them for comparison vs someone who has tried one makes a difference. Not that the guy on his first review isn't valuable, but being able to get a true comparison from one individual. Yeah, that's priceless!!

Firstly I should have cleared up numerous things in the original post. tbh I thought I implied I didnt like firm onas, but looking back its kind of vague. I like soft and realistic, and if it's extra stimulating like tsukasa aoi while being soft that's a plus.

@vtygrh The Arina Hashimoto is my second or 3rd on my top 3. That cervix stinger is goddess level. She will not disappoint!
She is the biggest and floppiest ona I have seen/used. Very much a lay on a surface to utilize than a stroker IMHO.
