@testerrr thanks for the input! If not too much trouble, would you be able to let us know how you visit or browse ToyDemon? Not too long ago we put up the "Community" dropdown QOL change so that it's right on the top next to your Account. We also have a front page banner noting the giveaway within the community. So it'd be great if you can let us know how you were brought to TD and the way you browse so we can improve the visibility of it.

@**ToyDemon** There's about an inch margin above and below each review as well as each comment in the reviews. It just irks me since I'd rather be able to read more peer page without scrolling so much. The reviews all seem to have double spacing between paragraphs, I don't know if that's a user input or the standard from the sites's designers.

I'd like to see more categories since "onaholes" is such a broad topic. A page to see upvoted (Is that what we're calling it here?) topics and comments would be nice too.
I don't like doing new year resolutions since in my opinion waiting for a new year is a sign you're not really serious, but I would like to make some real progress in learning Japanese this year.

@jtsk thanks for the input. What do you mean a page to see upvoted topics and comments? As in topics and comments that you personally upvoted? Currently you can subscribe to a topic that you think is interesting, so that you'll be notified whenever it gets new comments and also access them in your own community dashboard.
Adding sub categories to onaholes might not be a bad idea. I'll talk with the team and see what else we can add.

@Belmar I think he meant community categories since the post is specifically asking about community improvements. Though I see a lot of ppl commenting on general site things.
I will wait till the whole topic is over and maybe based on the feedbacks, we might need to do have a “how to navigate td” blog post as it surprises me that quite a few users don’t even know the community exists. I supposed it would be helpful if they can specify if they are on mobile or desktop.
I saw your other comment about calling it “forum” but because we still have an archived forum we don’t want to mix up the 2 even more.

@AverD Thanks for the input. May I ask why you don't add the item to a wish list? While having a Recently Restocked section is a good idea, when we get an ocean shipment into our warehouse, we could be replenishing hundreds of items at once. To add to that, if you don't visit the site say for a month, then a recently stocked section would not help you as the item might have gone out of stock again. Also how long should we keep a recently stocked product in its section? 1 week? 1 month? We cannot know how often each person visits to make the section make sense for everyone.
Also the way Back-Order items works are that all the items in Back-Order are confirmed to arrive within the next 2 weeks. They are also free shipping regardless of any amount. For example currently our free shipping starts at $50, but the Student Council President in Back-Order is under $50 but it will still give you free shipping anyway if you order it since it's a Back-Order item. We are certain it's coming, we are sorry you have to wait to get it, hence we give free shipping on Back-Order items. So if you really want a specific back-order item, there's no reason to wait really as it's a better deal than waiting for it to come in stock.
We urge everyone to make use of the functions and tools already available, besides, it allows us to know that a certain onahole have a lot of interest and we will order more because of that.

@ojjuice as I mentioned in another comment, to keep track of onaholes that caught your eye and waiting for it to come back in stock, the wish list is the best way to go about it....you can see the my explanation by scrolling up a bit.
Items in your wishlist sends you notifications when it goes on sale (if you enable it). As for back in stock notification, there’s a “Notify Me” which will let you know once item is back in stock.

I think there could be some improvements with site navigation.
-There's no option to sort by price low to high, only high to low. A minor inconvenience if you're looking at a smaller category and are on PC, but if you're searching through larger categories with several pages of items, or are on mobile, it's super annoying.
-If you're not careful, searching a term will link you directly to the first result in the list when you hit enter, even when that's not what you want. Again, a minor issue, but enough to comment on.
Additionally: Would it be possible to stock powder for toy maintenance?
My resolutions are to eat healthier, exercise more, and get more efficient with producing art - primarily through less perfectionism.

@JadeTheHorny Hi, for the sorting from low to high or high to low, on desktop and mobile there's a arrow icon next to the sort by. That's to change sorting by ascending / descending. If you click on it, it will sort from low to high. Hope that helps.

My new years resolutions were stuff I was already planning and doing, so I'm just lumping it in with those. One of them is to start getting back in shape, I'm starting to seriously do my ringfit throughout the rest of the winter and as soon as the sun comes out I'm gonna start biking and swimming again.

@**ToyDemon** i think the community options, threads and topics are somewhat cumbersome to navigate. maybe the user experience could be improved in some way. i've had trouble looking for posts i've seen in the past and its not obviously clear how to even get to the forum section.

@**ToyDemon** I was happy to see that tunnel length measurement was added. That can misleading on some onas and nearly impossible to figure out on hips and torsos. I think adding a mouseover showing some quick info like brand, measurements, the stock (if its low stock), most upvoted review, etc. would be a nice addition.

@Midnight Rereading the question, I might not have answered the right one lol. I think rewarding users for being an active user would be nice. Like they can get a multiplier of some sorts for all reward actions done in a month or maybe per login (since its a bit unreasonable to expect users to go from a few per year type to a daily). Or even just getting a login in reward like games do.

This request has been added. We put the information for next tier in 3 spots once you're logged in:
1. Every product page there's a small line of text telling you how much you need to reach next tier. This was originally the rewards perks table for one to see when they mouse over. Now we have adjusted it so it displays both.
2. On the side cart itself below the total. This directly shows how much you're away from the next tier against what is in your cart.
3. In your account's "My Orders" page at the very top.
Hopefully that makes viewing that info a lot easier. Sorry it took so long as it was the holidays. Thanks again for the suggestion.

Or a community vote, have the community nominate best aggressive toy, best gentle toy, best dual layer, etc. Sure, you already have top-sellers of 2020 and the like, but good sales doesn't necessarily mean the toy is appreciated.

After thinking about this further, I think I meant to say, maybe some sort of incentive to be active in the forums and respond to questions asked. A reward system for having lots of upvotes where you can maybe earn $5 store credit or free shipping for the next order or free express shipping over $70.

@**ToyDemon** I would like to see more categories in the community filter. Ex. Vaginal, oral, hip. It would be easier to find for ex. a post with people comparing breast products without sorting through 10+ pages. I could probably get the same result with a search, but I think it would be helpful. I just joined Toy Demon and am excited to climb the ranks. It is a pretty big jump from $500- $2000 and $2000- $5000. Maybe some sub tiers like spend $1000 get 500 reward points. Spend $1500 get 1000 points ect. Something reasonable.

@SexCamel We have noticed the community search bar is not user friendly on mobile as it's not clearly visible and is one of the things we will update in the near future. Also for writing getting points for reviews, we will put all the things you can do to get points in our little table within each product page. Which we also notice mobile is a little hard to see so we will try to fix that too.
When we are working it's always on a computer, and mobile is always one of the things that's harder to catch. If you see any more mobile issues feel free to let us know and we'll do our best to fix it.

@Demon Belmar's Best Cleaning Guide Ever: 1) first wash -use suave clarifying shampoo. occasionally repeat for stubborn lint/oil buildup on outside. 2) rinse with water after use [lube is sufficient soap/surfactant -compare ingrdients]. 3) dry. 4) make sure about #3. 5) recheck #3. 6) make sure you have completed steps 3, 4, and 5. 7) g project drying balls are way better than sticks. 8) when needed, drying balls can be cleaned by soaking in rubbing alcohol. this is difficult with sticks unless u have narrow test tubes with a stand.

@**ToyDemon** I'm actually pretty pleased with the site in all, but I'd love a dark mode for the site/forum or something a little less bright than pure white lol. Maybe the usage of more colors to soften the white would work too.
Honestly, I didn't come up with a resolution this year since life is pretty awful with the pandemic, but for the past two years I've just been pushing myself to try new things when the opportunity arises, so I'll probably just continue to do that :)

My 2021 New Year Resolution is focus more on my work-life balance, specifically as it relates to self care. I think it’s so vital to make time for oneself to feel good and for me personally, this is easily forgotten as a busy single mom.

One suggestion for improvement I do have though would be to (coincidentally) add the option to edit comments. Something simple I realize, but all the while something that many might fight useful.

A suggestion I would give, would be maybe a size filter for when I'm looking at onaholes, because I believe size is a good determinant for choosing an onahole, via the length and width of your onahole punisher.

Might be a problem with licensing for some of the companies and everything, but good art people relate too and good products will always sell!

Being smaller than average I've noticed my experiences with certain popular onaholes hasn't matched the expectations I garnered from the reviews.
I think it would be extremely helpful to have separate ratings for different size ranges. People in 3-4 inch range aren't going to have the same experience with the Venus Real as people in the 6-7 inch range and both are going to rate the product differently. I think this kind of rating system would be extremely helpful for people to find the perfect fit.

My New years resolution would be to not be sick anymore and be able to deadlift 405 pounds again at least at my weight of 150, but I'd like to gain weight too. Both had me out of commission for a long time and I'm still having symptoms much later after getting covid in march last year...sigh.

@**ToyDemon** Having some way to consolidate community submitted comparisons of products (onaholes, lube, etc) can be very useful for customers to decide what to buy based on what they currently own. For example, "I own X, Y, and Z. While X and Y are very similar, Z is not. If you want something different from X, I suggest giving Z a try because..." Reviews as they currently are, are usually one way (Review on X might mention Z, but there could be no reviews on Z mentioning X, so customers likely won't know about X).

@**ToyDemon** I'd really like to see better descriptions for products with ways to compare items. For example, Lube really needs a viscosity scale. Sleeves need some sort of tightness scale. Durability of sleeves would be nice as well. Too often I've purchased a sleeve that that is too tight to be comfortable and typically very tight sleeves are the first to split. I'd also recommend higher rewards for submitting useful reviews that contribute meaningful information about a product. Reviews that just say "Its great" are not meaningful.

@**ToyDemon** I definitely think there needs to be something to incentivize more people to leave reviews on products. I think a great idea to improve the reviews, is to give everyone a standardized reviewing system across all onaholes. For example, have a 5 star system for categories like softness, texture, material, cleaning, storage, etc. that everyone has to fill in for their review.

Also if there was a standard benchmark for item ratings that would help too. One of my new year resolutions is to try out new types of products and to share these hobbies with friends.

I understand not everyone wants to write detailed reviews, but if you guys can’t incentivize ore user reviews through greater rewards, perhaps beefing up the product description could help? Many are not particularly helpful, but I also imagine that it’s hard to say much because everybody’s perception of how hard/soft/stimulating any given material or texture might be is wildly different.

I think it would be cool if you keep track of your collection on the website. Add products, create wish lists, post pictures, ect. Also the ability to follow other community members too. If you see someone has a similar collection as you, and has rated things similar to you, it would be easy to tell that you have some of the same preferences therefore you could be confident in buying a piece that they have rated highly.

There should be either higher incentive to reviewing a product after purchase (say more reward points or coupon), or to make the review process easier like implementing some simple ratings (soft/firmness, ease of handling, price, presentation, etc.). Side note if can include the original product name that would be great. Considering majority of the products carried are Japanese product there are bound to be more reviews on amazon jp most of the time, having the name included and not have to find the title from image is much easier (I am painfully aware we are not known for short product titles nor good text layout). Other then that, I would suggest more push to make more reviews for the products and offer updates as well. It would make investing into these toys alot more effective as reviews, or lack thereof, can make and break toys imo.

Not sure that I can address your community goals, as I have to consider the value obtained from overall operational improvements versus whatever insight is gained from third-parties. @**ToyDemon** When browsing through the products on the website, I find it kind of tedious to have to scroll all the way down to see the details and description of the products. I think It would be better if you can place it next to or below the pricing near the top of the page. Plus, having the reviews and details on multiple tabs on one text box is somewhat annoying to navigate through in my opinion. Nonetheless, this site is great overall being one of the best U.S. retailers for onaholes!

If we're talking about community members then maybe you can setup a system that highlights community members that earn "helpful" points and then those members can use those points to redeem discount points or any of the deal coupons (Free shipping, toy bag and etc). Maybe the deal coupons can have a monthly routine of new items or prizes since they seem to be fixed items?

While thinking of things it turned out all of them were already in the site. Only thing I could think of would be points not expiring/maybe extending the time another year or two. As someone who doesn't purchase things very often I would like to build up the points without feeling stressed about them disappearing.

My New Years resolution for this year is to finish nursing school and graduate in May. I left the Army and felt a calling in the medical field. I would very much like to see a section with "Recently Restocked". There are more than once I saw something on back-ordered, proceed to tell myself to wait till it becomes available so I can buy it with other things then, ended up forgetting the name of the thing I wanna buy and spending too much time trying to find it digging through pages worth of products. Apart from that, a "Recently Restocked" section also makes it easier for us to see what people are buying (to the point that it has to be restocked) and makes it much easier to explore different products.
As far as new year's resolution, not catching rona is good. Apart from that, staying sane in lockdown would be nice.

Maybe like a weekly/monthly vote on items that the community thinks should get a "slight" discount. Kind of like a GOTY voting thing but more frequent so the community is involved more. An item that everyone has been wanting gets a slight discount so more people will probably buy it when it wins. Toydemon gets more sales and the item everyone has been watching gets discounted. Maybe replacing the text with "Forum" would be enough since it'll instantly make clear where the button leads exactly. Besides that, on the topic of incentivizing help, have you ever seen what the profiles look like in a site called HiNative? They have some neat things to keep track of like update speed or featured answer. Well, I guess Yahoo Answers already solved this kind of thing ages ago. Maybe use the basic things that's already laid out (upvotes, reviews, etc) and have them contribute toward a point total, and put rewards behind milestones of the total. No need to constantly come up with new achievements all the time and they still do something. Also, this ties into the fact that the personal profile page is seriously lacking. Even putting everything in a 2-column-wide grid would make it look better, and that's just the bare minimum. People like watching numbers go up, right? I think it should be a little flashier.
As for the New Year Resolution, I'm working on a book! I don't expect to finish it, but I sure hope to complete at least the first draft.

@**ToyDemon** I havent had many community related interactions but from what i have, i have nothing bad to say about it, sometimes having to go to the community to fidn more on product details for some products can be a hassle sometimes but it is there nonetheless and ive always been able to find something i need to know. I haven't interacted within the community all that much so I can't really weigh in much, but I have been able to find answers to questions most of the time I've had any. I think it's very well implemented and I don't have any criticisms.

It's surprising even such a community exist for this type of environment, or should I say website. It's amazing that this many people come together to share insights even if it's about other products that TD doesn't sell.

I'd say there's already been a lot of good incentives with this community, being able to search reviews for same reviewer or similar products and keeping up with key info perineum like product weight and dimensions.
For me, I'd say more user-type pics/videos or unboxing of products especially big ticket hips, torsos, breasts are very helpful to see in terms of real world look (vs manufacturer pics which are always a little idealized), softness and real size compared to hands or other items like soda cans.dollar bills etc help people make a choice on those. Product photo comparisons would also be helpful especially if there's a line of the same style toy or from same manufacturer like the Sujaman lolinco sleeves, the EPH hips, etc. If this is problematic for you to do yourself then consider partnering up with a youtube reviewer to do this for you.
Resolution? Keep my sanity in all this craziness lol. But honestly the usual- eat less/exercise more and try and get a couple of personal projects done. And staying sexually healthy in this isolation with the help of these toys!

It would be great if in our account information we would be able to view all the out of stock items that we have subscribed to be notified of when they are back in stock.
I would like to be able to look at a list of all the out of stock items that I am keeping an eye on so I can plan purchases accordingly. The email notification when the item is back in stock works perfectly though so I do like that.

@**ToyDemon** Hi, I definitely think there should be a rewards system, especially for the people that go through the trouble of reviewing products for others. Minor ways of recognition in forums would also be appreciated--I saw some people mention the idea of reddit-style medals, too.
For 2021, I think I'm gonna try and be more adventurous--pandemic permitting. I'm hoping to get some more traveling in, even if it's to local places I've yet to have visited.
